Better Grip Strength, More Tension

Just because you can’t see your triceps contracting, doesn’t mean they aren’t. But because you don’t see your triceps contracting, I am guessing you do have a good mind muscle connection. It would be a great way to practice that. But like I said, this is all theory but when I’ve put it into practice it does seem to work and the physiology makes perfect sense.[/quote]

Can you do it whilst squeezing your fist as hard as you possibly can? While making a fist and squeezing I can do it aswell, but when I try to squeeze to crush something it contracts.

Yes. If I actually focus on not allowing the tricep to flex it wont flex. If I dont pay any attention to it, it does flex by itself.

Yea. Flex the target muscle as hard as possible and hold it for a count then release. Do this until you notice blood flow to the muscle. Do it at home, at work, whatever. Learn to flex the target muscle as hard as possible. THen flex the muscle the same way when you lift weights.

lol…I just tried this and actually had to TRY to flex my tricep at the same time. By default my tris did not contract. I don’t think this was a good example.

The rice bucket thing doesn’t have any benefit because there’s no negative work.
