The type of cardio I’m referring to is staying around 120bpm for active recovery.
Is it best to do them before/after a workout, off days, or doesn’t really matter?
I’ve also read in an article, ‘YOU NEED LONG DURATION, LOW INTENSITY CARDIO’ by Mike Robertson about this type of activity and how it develops the parasympathetic nervous system. Worth a read if all you do is HIIT for cardio or anything above 130bpm.
