Best Supps for the Over 35 Crowd?

Rainjack is right. The big “T”. You shouldn’t need it until your forties, though. Gluc/Chon/ MSM should not be taken until you start to have joint issues, I feel.

For me (37) Alpha Male, 200+grams of high quality protien daily, Flax oil, and at least a gallon of water a day. Also my five veg and five fruit daily.

This thread has really got me thinking, and it hurts!

Seriously though, I will be 39 next month, have dropped 60 lbs over the course of the last year and am feeling pretty good. Finished the V-Diet a couple months ago, and my main concern now is lean bodymass gain. This is my second month of taking Carbolin 19; really too early to ascertain effects. I got to thinking, “Am I putting the cart before the horse?”, that is, should my primary supplement be Alpha Male before I go getting all exotic?

Thoughts?

First time user of this site. I am 44 years old and have been lifting on and off for many years. I really got back into the game about two years ago. I have been using 17 meth but I am running out. Slow gains anyway.

Any supplement recommendations for the over 40 gang since pro-H is now banned.

I tried Glutamine and never felt, or saw a difference. Do you take it on an empty stomach? I heard this is the best (perhaps only) way that it gets absorbed.[/quote]

I love glutamine. If I overtrain, my gums won’t heal from brushing and/or the skin between my toes may begin to breakdown. Taking glutamine would quickly remedy this situation. That’s a real world result I can see.
