bro NO-vapor-shotgun-bullet!!!11
but on a more serious note, a ton of people talk about Surge, but it bears repeating. i like Flameout a ton as well but i don’t know if that counts as “no one is talking about it”.
Carbolin 19 and REZ-V are two of my picks. Carbolin 19 produces some outstanding results whether you’re dieting or trying to gain size and strength. I just posted some recent research on resveratrol–VERY exciting!

I do not think many people are talking about this one. It has so many positive health benefits.
Curcumin
Take with Bioprene
I put it up there with fish oil and resveratrol.

Curcumin Enhances Muscle Regeneration- Curcumin, the active ingredient in the spice turmeric is a non-toxic, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and an anti-estrogen (45). Curcumin is such a potent anti-oxidant that when researchers blasted the leg muscles of mice with radiation, curcumin significantly reduced the radiation induced inflammatory damage in muscle (34). Curcumin inhibits a major pathway of muscle tissue breakdown called the NF-?B pathway. Don??t get bothered by the name just remember that activation of NF-?B in skeletal muscle increases UPP expression in muscle, consistent with a role for NF-?B plays a role in muscle protein catabolism31. In addition, recent studies have suggested a possible role for NF-?B in the development of insulin resistance (32).
Okay, enough of the tree hugging anti-oxidant stuff?you want the hardcore muscle info! It has been demonstrated that treatment with curcumin after local muscle injury leads to faster restoration of normal tissue as well as to increased expression of biochemical markers associated with muscle regeneration33. Additionally, curcumin blocks muscle protein loss suggesting it has potential usefulness in the treatment of muscle wasting and possibly, other inflammatory conditions (35).
Curcumin: A Safe Alternative to NSAIDS- With hardcore training, all bodybuilders are susceptible to the occasional sore knee or elbow, or strained muscle. NSAIDS are good for pain relief, but current research suggests that they may inhibit muscle hypertrophy. Curcumin may be a safer and non-toxic alternative. Evidence suggests that in some experimental conditions curcumin can have similar anti-inflammatory activity as some of the common non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) like Indomethacin, Vioxx, Celebrex, and Ibuprofen, but without many of the side effects such as gastrointestinal distress and cardiovascular complications.
Recently, it was shown that curcumin caused a decrease in whole body markers of inflammation and can speed recovery following exercise-induced muscle damage (36). The performance effects are reflected by a reduction in plasma creatine kinase and inflammatory cytokine concentrations which are typically associated with muscle damage and inflammation. As opposed to the NSAID drugs which specifically target COX- 2 inhibition curcumin??s effects appear to be more specifically targeted at NF-?B, and therefore their anti-inflammatory effects may come with less potential for serious side-effects.
Remember, preventing or minimizing muscle breakdown during intense resistance training is incredibly important; it??s half the battle won in terms of speeding recovery and gaining muscle mass.

I still don’t think fish oil gets the credit it deserves. Probably the best supplement to improve overall health and well being and no one talks about it. [/quote]
And that’s why so many of us don’t even consider it a “supplement” anymore. I know I can get away with not using protein powder but cutting out fish oil is just plain irresponsible.
I do feel like Spike Shooters are still underrated. Even half a can can nearly double my work capacity.

Agreed, Flameout, REZ-V, Superfood, ZMA, to me are my good health and longevity supplements that indirectly help with my gym gains.
Metabolic Drive, BCAA’s, BETA-7, Surge and Creatine, are my Muscle supplements, directly and positively affecting my gym gains.
Alpha Male, Carbolin 19, and HOT-ROX Extreme, are my specialty supplements I cycle when desired.
Spike Shooter is my daily energy enhancer.

Good point.
On a small side note, after making my way through my first case of Spike Shooters, they have next to no effect on me. Damn it damn it damn it damn it.

Second the curcumin. Very potent anti-cancer agent, as well.
Ive used everything when it comes to beta-alanine, creatine and NO2 combo. Ive tried no-shotgun, no-xplode, superpump 250, creatine monohydrate, beta-alanine aminos, arginine,… I heard a few thing about MRI’s NO2 black so I decided to give it a try. So far ive been on it for about 2 weeks and ive noticed a big difference. My max bench has already gone up 10 pounds and I have added weight to the sets I rep. I would highly reccommend this product. Try it for yourself.
Heavy weight training is the supplement nobody talks about.
The only thing most supps make big is the producers wallets. Not jacking your post but, The majority of the stuff out there is crap and unnecessary.
If you add supplements to a bad diet- it’s still a bad diet.
What I’m saying is for supplements to have the slightest chance to benefit a user, their workout and nutrition has to be stellar. I see too many guys sucking down creatine and shakes but don’t lift with any intensity and eat crap. Sorry.
Not flaming your post, but the best supplement is reality.
curcumin? good thing I’m going to the Indian Buffet today. I knew that stuff had to be more than good tasting. ![]()

Switch to the Shotgun. Then the pills. And put days off in between. That’s what I do.
Although I’ll probably never have the experience of my first Shooter ever again.

Do you drink a lot of caffeine outside of the Spike? I recently dropped pretty much all caffeine except from the stuff from like HRX and Spike and I can still get a pretty good kick from it.

I don’t take any caffeine otherwise. I still get great effects but I rotate anyway.
But imagine what it was like for me the first time I tried it - without ever having drank coffee in my life pretty much. It was frrrreeeeeeaakyyyy.

Yeah, you are right. While I still get a good kick from those supps, it’s nothing like the very first time I tried it.
I’ve felt better since using Superfood. Not directly during work outs but I feel my recovery is better. This may be a placebo effect, but I’m going with it for now.
This might be old school thinking, but an old article I read here recommended Ribose, you dont see it much around anymore, which hels with you atp level while your working, always gave me great pumps for workout, only bad thing was you had to take it in such high doses to notice the benefits.
What about caffeine pills? They’re really cheap, help you focus pre work out and help with fatigue while lifting. It felt like I turned up my work outs to the next level once I started to take them.
Acetyl L-Carnitine w/ALA.
