I have short upper arms and very long forearms. This is good for pulling but very bad for benching. I was wondering if anyone else has had the same problem and could recommend a single ply shirt that works good for my body type. I’ve used a ragex and a king presser but by the time the bar gets to my body, the bar is basically hitting my belt.

The Titan F6 has a high-ish groove and it’s the shirt I’ve used in competition. The Katana’s is a little lower but not ridiculous unless you jack the shit out of it a la Mark Bell.
The F6 definitely has a higher groove, but the collar on that thing is brutal and totally chokes you out.

Get it supercut. I’m pretty sure you’d even be able to send it back to Ken to have him give you the supercut on it.
The supercut collar scoops lower on your chest, making it easier to jack, will give you some more pop, and will eliminate the whole “I can’t breathe” thing.
It will, however, be a fairly different shirt though, so don’t go do that right before a meet.
I’ve heard the single ply Metal bash shirt is good for the longer armed bencher, but I haven’t used one so I can’t speak from personal experience. My arms proportioned similar to yours and I’ve found I simply can’t wear a shirt quite as tight as some and/or have to find something that has a little more stretch in the material.
4 ply ultimate denim…see if you can get Kevlar, Hitler claims its pretty good. But he’s in that Mustache only fed so…
I wouldn’t go with a katana. They tend to lock up if they fit right. F6 is probably your best bet, and get the collar scooped or the super collar.

This was the answer I was waiting for. Haha.
Thanks for the advice guys. Good stuff. I am gonna give the rageX a few more workouts to see if it relaxes at all then my next shirt will probably be an f6.
I’ve always had the best luck with shirts that are really broken in and almost what some people would consider worn out. I benched the best in a 4-5 year old Metal pro viking shirt that was given to me because they thought it was too worn out. I was able to wear it relatively tight, but since it was so “broken in” the material had more give to it and I was able to touch. I then got a newer shirt in the same model and size and couldn’t touch anything.
Whatever you decide, I would make sure the shirt was broken in really well before making any final decisions. Good luck.

No offense, but if you can only touch in a 5 year old worn out shirt, then you’re either not handling heavy enough weights or just don’t know how to use the shirt.
I should specify the shirt was well broken in, but clearly wasn’t worn out since I got ~175-200 lbs. out of it. When the newer shirt was giving me trouble, I measured myself and turns out I measured a size bigger than I was trying to wear. Had I sized the new shirt better, I’m sure it would have worked fine (it was barely used and I got a great deal on it, so I gave it a try).
im 6’4 and have 78’ wingspan. im the definition of long arms. and i bench great in a katana a/s. just bought a super. gonna see how that goes
