Best Shoes You've Ever Bought

Seriously to each their own on this one (different shoes for different feet/people)

Various shoe manufacturers do intentional limited releases of some better selling shoes in exactly the hope that once you fall in love with a shoe you will buy multiples. Talk about boosting multiple/incremental sales lol.

Hardcore runners are known to do this to ensure they have backups, doubles, triples, etc.

A pretty good book for the guys on this site that run:

x ??? on the VFF. I’ve been wearing/lifting/running in my KSO’s for the past year or so (minus winter time). I’m thinking about picking up a pair of the VFF Flow’s for winter though with the Injini socks. Any experiences with the flows??

Back in the early 90’s I used to ball everday after school and the Nike Flight low was the best.

My newly acquired Star Wars Darth Vader shoes.

Just bought some Vibrams, thanks to Vegita. Looking forward to the hip and leg soreness too.

I typically wear skate shoes or runners, but my favorite pair(s) were my Air Jordans back in the 90’s.

My fave bball shoes were the original VCs. They had amazing fit and support and the shox provided the right amount of cushioning. Plus, I thought they looked pretty damn cool. Not very well versed in running shoes, but my fave was a pair of adidas control.

Yeah, but can you still wear socks if you go one size lower on the Vibrams?

I like these:

But I’m worried that “Kangaroo leather” isn’t as stretchable as the UPPER shoe fabric of the regular KSO. My foot has a high “crown” - the top raises up a bit.

Also, I tried the regular KSO (I think that’s what the one) and I felt like the bottom of my foot (ankle, ball of foot) would quickly ACHE even with minimal impact (no jumping, bouncing) just walking around for an hour.

Is that accurate?

Most comfortable dress shoes:

Just about anything by ECCO. I have 6 pairs at least, maybe 8.

Most comfortable skate shoes:
Supra

I also really like Nikolinos but the soles aren’t meant for walking/standing all day.

Who knows the name of the Adidas equivalents to chuck taylors

At first you may feel discomfort but you quickly adjust to it. With running I had to switch up my form from the heal strike to keeping on my balls of my feet.
