Best rowing machine for home, choose the best

I researched the best rowing machines as i am trying to set up a solid home workout routine to improve my fitness. I have been experiencing low energy and want to add a low impact cardio option that is easy on my joints. I went through reviews from trusted sources like Garage Gym Reviews and verified Amazon customer reviews and after comparing many options these three kept coming up as the top choice

concept 2 rowing machine

Hydrow Rowing Machine

Yosuda Rowing Machine
However I am having trouble deciding which one would be better for me, and I would love to get your expert advice. Hoping maybe some fitness buffs or home gym enthusiasts on this forum can also share their advice. I usually work out 3-4 times a week and prefer something durable and user-friendly. Which one would you recommend for me? Any suggestions or advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

I recently did a lot of research trying to find a rower that wasn’t a Concept 2 to use in my home gym, looking at tons of reviews, lots of influencer videos, all these things that claimed to be “just as good as a Concept 2 but at a fraction of the cost”

I ended up just getting a Concept 2. I looked on Facebook marketplace and found a great deal on a used one. Depending on where you are in the world, there’s a good chance you’ll have good luck with that as well.

There’s a reason they’re the gold standard, and if you’re looking to be able to compare apples to apples as far as workouts go, it helps to have the right equipment.

Concept 2 is the only way to go and basically indestructible. Should be able to get a used one for a good deal. Worth every penny.

Thanks for the recommendation I totally get where you are coming from I also have seen Concept 2 pop up everywhere as the go-to and it is tempting because of its reputation for durability and that apples to apples consistency in workouts
but its price is much higher

That’s why I suggested finding a used one. I managed to pick one up for $540.

Thanks for sharing Yeah I have heard amazing things about the Concept2 definitely a gold standard in rowing machines. I know it is on the pricier side but everyone seems to agree it’s built like a tank and lasts forever.

Good to know you liked the Hydrow too. It looks really sleek and I like the idea of the interactive workouts, but I am still on the fence about whether it is worth the subscription cost long term.

I have not seen much feedback on the Yosuda either that is part of why I am curious. It is more budget friendly but I wonder how it holds up over time compared to premium models like Concept2 or Hydrow.

Appreciate your input definitely helps me think through what is worth investing in
