Best Program When Cutting?

Hello all I was looking for you help if possible. In a week I will be looking for a new program.

I am 5’ 11", 205lbs, 14%bf and I am an Endomorph.

I am currently eating between 2200 and 2400 calories and looking to lean out and cut up.

What would be your best suggestions for a program?

Thanks in advance.

I’d recommend some of CW’s programs, such as “Next Big Three” or Triple Total Training. The best thing you can do while dieting is to stick with heavier weights and lower reps. It’ll help preserve muscle mass and strength while cutting.

Many of us have made the mistake of using higher reps and lighter weights to lose fat. It works, but unforunately, you end up losing size and a lot of strength.

Also, EDT for fat loss is a good program to check into as well. And there are several others that work well. I’m sure you’ll get suggestions from advocates of CT and some of the other coaches.

Nate Dogg,

Thank you for your reply.

I believe I will be going to try the TTT for 6 weeks.

Good point on the fact that alot of people would go to multiple reps in all exercise to lean out, however this routine will allow for the muscles to be trained a variety of compound ways.

Regards

Keep it basic. Just reduce your food intake and add cardio.
