That’s the first fast food burger I’ve seen that was BIGGER than a small child.
Made some burgers last night.
1.5 lbs of lean ground beef
4 strips of thick cut nitrate free bacon
diced onions
cubed pieces of firm goat cheese
steak seasoning
worchestishire sauce
mixed all up into three giant patties… you can see the cubed (soon to be melty) cheese
the final spread… got some steak sauce to go on top, a toasted chibatta (sp?) bun, avocado, pickles… It was so good.

First off, Pizza Hut is not pizza. It’s commercialized crap. It’s where poor people who don’t know any better eat.
Second off, pizza tastes different in Italy than it does here. Same with Prague, Budapest, Moscow, Chicago or New York.
It’s like getting a gyros in Athens. Not what you really expected but delicious anyway.

I didn’t think they’d go for the whole mega burger concept in TW. They have some gourmet burger places here with burgers made from game meat. The group of friends I have here interested in lifting try to find good sources of Australian beef and other meats and make stuff ourselves as the fast food offerings are pretty mediocre for massive appetites.
How do you find the local snack/fast food? Taiwanese sausage etc? HK and TW are known for two things eating and shopping haha.
The Taiwan sausages are the kind that taste sweet. The rest of the night market food is like something out of Fear Factor. I mean you can get chicken uteri (Google chrome just told me that’s the correct pluralization of ‘uterus’) on a stick.
Too much of the food here is like a big challenge…I mean I just went to a Chinese restaurant last night with some people and when simple dishes come buy, people take some and eat, normal right?, then, when something weird comes by, that’s when the other people put some on your plate and say try it and wonder why you don’t think it’s delicious. I hate that because they damn well know I don’t want to eat cow’s testicles so why is this the dish that they spoon some for me? Why didn’t they spoon me the fried rice or the salmon???
When people tell me to try it, i tell them I already did years ago and I’m sorry, I’m not eating anything I don’t want anymore!
