Best Freestyle Y'all Heard

Cassidy – the caption for this should be ‘Got Hard Shit?’

Probably my favourite freestyle, by the Greatest Rapper of All Time [starts at 55 secs]:

Another great one from one of the greatest and one of the most talented:

I have no good reason, but for some reason I’ve always liked this one:

Then again, even though Cam’ron’s dope, I think even I’d sound good over the On My Block beat :D.

I dunno if we’re counting mixtape songs over other people’s beats as freestyles, but if we are you can’t go wrong with these–

Canibus shits on pretty much everybody when it comes to freestyling-

Big L is probably the most slept on rapper of all time. Pretty much every clown you hear on the radio today blatantly steals his lines, but no one knew that 'cause they never heard of him-

This track reminds me of being 17 and getting into all kinds of knuckleheaded shit-

method man’s second verse is insane

- YouTube!

God, best freestyle I have ever heard, nobody can spin better.

Kool Keith is up there. Definitely. A true freestyler

He flows and rarely uses pre written lyrics.

Dude, that was fucking terrible. Kool Keith aka Doctor Octagon has a horrible flow, whether it’s written or not. He must’ve used the words “check out” 50 times. And, I didn’t hear Xhibit 'cause I kept fastforwarding but every “freestyle” I’ve ever heard Xhibit bust has been lines from one of his albums. Absolutely terrible.

I generally don’t like Eminem, but some of his old freestyles are bananas-

Aye I can see where you’re coming from however I would suggest that 90% 0f freestyles you hear on the radio are pre written lyrics. Thats why I give Keith maximum kudos. His rhymes are truly ‘off the top of da dome’

Necro should get a mention as well

I don’t know that much about this genre…but i could watch this all day
