Best Exercises for Athletes?

Opinionated Question

I understand that Christian is one of the more knowledgable guys on here (Along with jim, Chris and many others)
I have a question for you guys, strictly based on your own opinion I’m curious to hear your thoughts on: The top exercises for ATHLETES, and how to implement them in to a 3 day split?

What are your thoughts? Im curious to hear your opinion.

squats, chins, and then a pressing exercise. Could be dips, bench, or shoulder press.

Varying kinds of jumps and, depending on the sport, sprints

I’d probably go with deadlidts, pull ups and power cleans with a push press at the end

It depends on the athlete and their weakness and what area they need to improve upon the most for an exact answer, but big basic exercises, squats, presses, deadlifts, olympic lifts, rings for activation and stabilization, prowler or loaded carries, and dominating the weight through all speeds…(i.e. BW box jumps, weighted squat jumps 20-30% of your 1RM back squat, olympic lifts, squats, possibly partials for an overload) is a ticket that in my opinion would take you far. Think big basic lifts, fix weaknesses, dominate the weight so you feel better when you are done working out than when you started, eat, sleep, repeat.

It also depends entirely upon the sport.
