All from the same friend. The two times he did go to the gym, he only used the machines because free weights are too much work.

Ok so that one was actually from me, until I started to read about all the injuries that powerlifters have overcome, and that lamar gant deadlifted 5x bw and he had scoliosis.
Now its: "well, if both my mom and grandpa had they’re backs operated on, and now their doctors tell them to lift no more than 20 lbs, but they only ever lifted 150 in there life, then by the time it happens to me, if I’ve achieved a squat of say, 900, then proportionally i could probably lift at least 100lbs after my back gives out, thus living a normal life.
Or better yet, I could say ‘fuck the doctors advice’ and do what many powerlifters have done, and keep lifting heavy shit."
so i guess thats my excuse to do something I love even though its probably not safe for me.

“I can’t lift I have a broken back…oh F it I’ll lift” I then proceeded to squat, back gave out and down went crewpierce with the barbell. Not a good day for the back or the ego.

As for an excuse:
A few of us were at the gym back in high school and after about 15 minutes we tell one guy it’s his set (we’re about 3 sets into the session).
He picks up his carb drink and says “I’m tired, I’ll wait till this kicks in”. He then walks over to the waiting room and sits down and starts reading M&F while sipping on this drink.

I would say that having twins to bang qualifies as a LEGITIMATE excuse for not working out.
Does the one twin know that you are banging the other? Do you have sex with them both at the same time? In any case, CONGRATULATIONS!!!

I guess it was a legitimate excuse the first few times…but…I’m spending way too much time out of the gym.
It’s really a long story. I’d been blowing up the one for about six weeks. No matter what I did she’d never climax. Was weird. Anyway…you know the old joke about how if you hit or spank one twin, the other one feels it? Well…no lie…while I was hooking it up with the one, the other was feeling everything. Weird. I still don’t know whether I believe them or not. So we all do it in the same room(s) because the one’s feeling everything that I’m doing to the other one.
They told my wife this has happened with other guys they’ve been with but they’ve never felt comfortable enough with the guys to tell them and so the other guys didn’t get the joy of having them together…but having them together is a mixed blessing because they’re not into touching each other and actually get creeped out if their arms or legs accidentally brush…my wife said she had a girlfriend that had the same experience with male twins, but I think she and the twins might be making that up.
I can’t go: there’s a new thread in the Off Topic section, plus the Atomic Dog today, as well as a new Powerful Image. I think I’ll take this as my second consecutive deloading week.
Not really an excuse for not lifting, but at EVERY gym I’ve ever lifted in, there is always someone telling someone else about how much better shape they used to be in.
For example, one guy that was there every time I lifted for two years at my last gym, used to delight in telling people about how 1 year ago he weighed 30 pounds more and had 10% less bodyfat and was benching 450 pounds for reps. The best part is that one year ago, he was in the exact same shape he is in now, and using the exact same weights and reps for the exact same exercises. I couldn’t tell if he was delusional or just full of shit.
