That’s probably because your in Jersey. I used to see it here too. I’ve had the typical jersey juicehead guido try and start shit with me back when I used to go to the clubs down the shore in the summer. He just picked me out of the crowd and decided he was going to bust my balls. I’ve also seen one get his ass kicked by a latin kid on the board walk because he was starting shit. A couple years back in Hoboken, a big black dude started ripping on my friend (who’s 5’5 140 lbs) because he was wearing a Hawaiian vacation shirt. Not in a funny way, but in an asshole way. My friend turned it around and made him look like an idiot, but he was still the one starting shit.
So yeah, around here I’d say it’s just as likely that the big guy starts shit as it is the little guy.
That’s what I’m saying. Round here it’s normally the smaller guys that don’t start the problems. And really, for that other dude that commented- how many fuckin guys do you see that are shorter than 5’7"? I’ve never seen a 5’3 guy start problems with anyone.
Like I said, maybe this shit differs depending where you are, but if you go to some of the guinzo bars around here or down the shore, I guarantee some douchebag juicehead WILL take his shirt off and try to fight someone.
Dude, I don’t even think we have “guidos” in Texas. If we do, they probably live on Montrose.
Also, I think if someone ripped their shirt off here they would probably get laughed at. That sounds retarded. No, I just don’t see all of the gigantic dudes around here starting shit.
I had a skinny personal trainer run up to me to tell me to put up my weights while I was training. This was at 8pm when it was literally CROWDED in the gym…yet he singled me out to tell me this even though the plates he was talking about were left by the guys who were now on the machine next to me. This was so urgent that he had to stop my workout literally during a set to tell me this (my reaction was possibly over the top but he pissed me off by potentially causing an injury for bullshit). Mind you, there were stray weights all over the damn place and he skipped over two lifters who had just left barbells on the floor to come to me.
I am only writing that to make this one point…bigger guys stand out so I am not surprised that if you ever did see one who looked like he was two or three months out from competing as a super heavyweight, it would stand out to you.
What I don’t get is throwing a bunch of barely built “guidos” into the same category as that or acting like smaller guys are usually the innocent ones while mean old swole weight lifters are just wreaking havoc all over the city.
No, Houston doesn’t seem to have a huge “guido” population. Most of the guys here who are really big are either bouncers, guys who plan to compete in bodybuilding or football players…but I think we all know alcohol changes everything.
