Yep Celebrator is absolutely incredible.
Did it have the little plastic stag attached to the bottle?

Just wondering if anybody has given Killian’s Irish red a try before. How was it if you did?
Anyone had Tyskie, Polish lager? Not a fan.

Has he argued with some poor soul back and forth so that a thread goes from page 2 to page 14 in a day?
THAT’S how we’ll know if it’s HoustonGuy.
What about the poor soul arguing back?
It’s interesting you people put this Houston feller on a pedestal.
HoustonGuy had some interesting thoughts. He served as a good straw man, and I’ll admit, sometimes he wrote down some of my darker questions/thoughts. Besides, with HolyMac quiet, I’ve missed some of the more voyeuristic threads.
That being said, the guy has been banned and he keeps showing up. Why?
The mods said get out. They’re paying for the infrastructure. So why keep showing up? It’s like sneaking back into a party after the homeowner asked you to leave. Sure you can sneak back in, but it feels juvenile.
I’d like to know what the logic is in the behavior. For someone who strongly believes in personal property rights, why ignore the wishes of the owners of the site?
Indeed, where for art thou, Holymac?

I kind of like that he keeps showing up. It makes the site like a cross between Where’s Waldo and a TV sitcom with a running gag in it every week, like Cheers. Norm walks in, everyone says “Norm!”, Sammy asks him a question, Norm responds with a funny one-liner, sits down, order a beer and the show moves on. It happens every episode so when you watch it all the time you wait for Norm to walk in and kind of look forward to seeing what sort of joke he makes before he sits down since it’s a different one every episode.
HoustonGuy comes in with some onomatopoeia/alliteration for a screen name, we all spot it after he inevitably makes some dipshit comment that only a person with such a pitiful life as to relegate himself to constantly trying to get onto a website so he can troll it (and very poorly at that) would make, he says something along the lines of “I’m not this Houston Guy feller you guys keep talking about but I agree with everything he says”, which further confirms that it IS HoustonGuy and then about two days later he comes back on and gets outed again after a week at the most and the show moves on.
I like the Where’s Waldo aspect of it better, though. Because there’s always going to be at least a couple of people who are new to the site at any one time and who are also dumb as a bag of pubic hair. So when I see them I have to pick the one that’s HoustonGuy out of the crowd. If you look at it long enough, he’ll make himself known, just like that little bastard, Waldo.

Yes! I hang them from my light switches.

very enjoyable

try that again

I don’t drink at all now, but this was the best beer I ever had. (to me anyway) Back in 1989 when I was in Valdez working for the summer.
I’ve started adding bourbon to beer lately because I like the flavor. The idea came from my Dad. We were drinking Bourbon Barrel Ale and he said “you know, this tastes just like dropping a shot into a beer”. It’s a lot cheaper than buying Bourbon Barrel Ale, which goes for about $9 per 4 pack.
I have heard of people drinking whiskey and beer together, but generally it’s like how you did it - keeping each separate instead of mixing.
What combinations go well together? Jameson and Guinness? I like Wild Turkey and Budweiser.

I’m not yet man enough to put any whiskey in my beer.

I’ve found that taking a sip of rye right before a swallow of amber beer really, really makes that beer taste good. It definitely changes things a bit.
Anyone else chase whiskey with beer strictly for the taste effect?
yes.
Maybe if the major American beers were better, I wouldn’t have to add bourbon to improve the taste. Maybe not - I really like bourbon.
I miss Tiger beer. Really good lager.
I’ll usually do a whisky/scotch/rye/whiskey on the rocks with my first beer of the day. I’d get into way too much trouble (and have in the past) if I kept drinking the hard stuff with my beer throughout the day.
Jack Daniels goes well with any beer.
