Best Beers

Scottish people love nothing better than getting absolutely blazed on beer. It’s a national institution and we pretty much write the book on getting blotto’d. I love it and have found as I advance in age my passion for the sweet nectar becomes all consuming.

My favourite beer is brewed in my hometown of Glasgow and goes by the name of Tennents Lager. 4% alcohol ensures that I can knock a fair few back before scanning the pub looking for a fat bird to take home with me:-) Granted it isn’t the greatest tasting but I have to make sure my local brewing company see’s some of my hard earned readies.

Post up your favourite beers so we, as beer drinkers and men, can work our way through them

Since I’m a danish kid(You know… We kinda drink alot) I can appreciate any kind of beer.

You goddamn Scots have the best dark beers ever. I can’t remember any names, but about 8 years ago I spent a few weeks in Scotland getting shitfaced in little pubs, and your stouts fucking rock.

I remember that Raven Ale. What really made me sick was watching dumbass english and scottish kids pay 3 pounds for a bottle of fucking budweiser, when they had the nectar of the gods on tap for about 1 pound a pint. I think every country exports their worst beers.

Ha so true mate. 3 quid for a piss poor beer that tastes like anal seepage. The price of booze in Scotland fucking kills me.

Belgian beers in general are my favorite. Chimay, Gulden Draak, Tripel karmeliet, and Augustijn just to name a few. Try em out, if you need to get plastered in a hurry go for the Gulden Draak, it has an alcohol content of 10.5%. Chimay red goes great alongside a nice thick steaks, and I prefer Augustijn with my chicken!

I love Leffe. Couple of those down your neck and you are ready to rock.

Hoegaarden is the shit as well but it’s something like 4 pounds a pint for it over here. You need to take out a fucking mortgage if you plan on drinking that on a night out FFS

Hey I can down whatever is at hand (From Denmark too, so that would be stuff like Tuborg and Carlsberg). I cannot stand Bud or Corona though, tastes like beer flavoured water.

Leffe is pretty damn awesome. I cant believe its 4 pounds a pint for Hoegaarden, I wouldnt be surprised if the others I mentioned would be 5 or more in that case… if you can find em.

Another great beer I forgot to mention is Erdinger, specifically their Pikantus. Absolutely delicious!

Erdinger is the dogs bollocks. You have to be careful with it though mate cos it blows your socks off. A couple of pints of that and I go off like a jewish foreskin. The hangovers are hellish as well.

Welcome to my parlour…

Drinking a St Bernardus Abt as I’m typing, well over 10 but didn’t even read the label.

Tennent, seriously? If you want laqers, why not go German? Jever, Konig. Still low in alcohol but twice the flavour.

Tennents is nice and easy on the senses TQB mate.

Not into Low alcohol numbers chief. I drink to get drunk.

I stopped reading after you referred to a woman as “bird” again. You have become the most annoying poster I have ever seen on here. You don’t really do anything wrong, but your chronic use of the term “bird” and the fact that you start about 7 threads every day, that have already been done before, has given you this distinction.

Jack your penis is showing. You wear this pair of skinny jeans to the pub, and you’ll surely take home the hottest guy there.

skinny jeans

I pretty much admire all beers.

After a good long run I’ll have a Budweiser. later I’ll have Guinness or Newcastle.

No need to be all beer snobby. Nothing ruins an enjoyable beer with friends more than when one of them tries to judge you by your beer.

Haha well it fills me with glee to think that you’re getting all riled up across the atlantic through the power of my prose waylanderxx.

Nah seriously i don’t really give two shits what you think. Good luck with the trolling mate!

my fave beer is leinekugel fireside nut brown, only available around the winter time.

But I’ll drink just about anything.

I wish to the heavens that Mods will come down on you like a kid trying to spy on his patents having sex and getting a boner over it.
