Uh are you sure you are old enough to drink?

Who the fuck drinks Heine’s any more?
They are pretty good out of a can on a hot day floating down a river on an inner tube. Other than that those green bottles are known for skunkiness.

one of the best beers I’ve ever had. It’s like drinking wart, in a good way.
Had one of these Sunday. Age Gate

Not bad but I do prefer the double bock

Indeed. Highly recommended.
I concur. Especially the Arrogant Bastard, which my friends always get great laughs from when I drink it.

Keep em coming guys. I really like the list so far, have a few that I know for sure I should try and are available. Still in Va, so east coast beer is where it’s at for my selection. I’ll report back when i get to them!

I have all the stone collection, sierra nevada, most of the sam adams of course and a couple other ‘less popular’ ones that a few people highlighted in the area, and can actually just buy individual bottles of anything at one place which is awesome

Kind of my thought, I thought they went out of “style” after the Austin Powers movies.

St. Arnold’s Octoberfest is hit and miss. Haven’t tried this year’s batch. When it hits - it’s really good.

Paulaner’s Salvator never fails to deliver. Strong and sweet - like me.

anyone into farmhouse ales?

I think I’ve only had Ommegang and one from a local brewery. I remember it being ok.

What do you recommend?
Jester King Thrash metal Farmhouse ale is a good one.

I also forgot to mention how good the Rahr brewery is. They’ve got a bourbon barrel winter ale that is beyond amazing. They’re in Fort Worth, don’t know how readily they’re available elsewhere.

Speaking of Ommegang, their Three Philosophers Quadrupel Ale definitely ranks in my top 10.

Just got this 4 pack, only tried the first one so far (which was really good) but mostly bought it because the pumpkin stout was not sold individually.

Good porter for price and alcohol content, should be a lot easier to get than all these local beers people are posting

Wife bought me one six pack of pumpkin beer from the Jolly Pumpkin.

Nasty, and I generally like Pumpkin.

This is such BS, I don’t get all the nut hugging. It’s an OK beer.

I like most everything by Stone, Clown Shoes, Dog Fish Head, Chimay, and Unibroue.

Yuengling is fucking garbage I don’t know why so many people like it. Must be the weird name.

Some beers I’ve been wanting to try:

Alaskan Amber Pale Ale
Dogfish 60-minute IPA
Czechvar Pale Lager

The great pumpkin is probably their best offering. If you’re into pumpking beers I would try to get a hold of Avery’s Rumpkin, it’s a pumpkin ale aged in rum barrels and comes in at an insane 15 -17 percent abv.
