Best Beers!

Put a mug in the freezer for a few hours, and have at it. Why wait to enjoy it?

Blasphemy! Drink it from a a tulip glass at around 45 degrees to get the true flavor.

I have not had it but there are a lot of great imperial stouts coming out. Founders has a very highly rated imperial that I just had, it was not my favorite. I have to say I prefer something with a smoother edge like an Oatmeal Stout.

Spent $12 on this bottle of imperial stout a couple of months ago and have yet to partake. Waiting for special occasion, I guess.

Anyone had it?
very highly regarded but just not my favorite

My fridge when I got home yesterday.

BTW, The Abyss by Deschutes is an 11% ABV.
Have you ever had a barrel aged monster? I had one beer clock in at 18 percent abv, pretty smooth too considering the abv.

Samichlaus is 14% and is actually really damned good

Where do ya’ll go to find these delicious looking beers! Do ya’ll order them or find them at the store?

Anyway from where I’m at and what I find, I like the Sierra Nevada Torpedo a lot. A really good American IPA with enough body and maltiness to stand up to the heavy hop load. New Belgium Abbey is great too.

oh my god

close topic.

If anyone is in or around the midwest, look out for this beer. It’s pretty damn amazing.

Almost anything by Great Lakes Brewery is outstanding.

Their Edmund Fitzgerald is one of the best porters I’ve ever tried.

Black and tan only instead of bass ale use kona big wave very delicious

Just about any beer from Weihenstephan and Paulaner. As good as they are in bottles, getting them straight from the source in Munich was almost life changing in its experience. I’m a big fan of most German beers and good stouts. Beer tends to be seasonal for me, wheat beers in summer and stouts or porters in winter. Lots of good options out there these days.
