Being Married and Still Lifting?

So, if my boxer briefs that I pushed up were a different color, would you unbunch your panties?

Either way I’m flattered that a harmless picture of me could have such a profound impact on you.

Chiming in as one of the women who trains, competes, has a couple of kids, house, mortgage, full time job and full time, live in boyfriend (who also trains and competes) it isn’t exactly an unattainable goal. I also have time to go to movies, read books, go to the park, help my kids with their homework, post on t-n, get laid and sometimes, do fuck all.

My point is that I find it to be an unsupportable assumption that you can’t be married and train.
Damn it, I’m pissed I missed this post earlier.

You are fucking awesome!

Carry on being awesome.
Thanks. I’m fortunate in that awesomeness just comes naturally. I think it’s genetic

This entire thread makes me scratch my head. Today, we spent most of the day at a meet either competing or coaching. Many of us are married and some were there with their s/o. I was coaching mine. There were a shit ton of t-n people there as well. One other t-n couple was there with him coaching her.

Like just about any aspect of life, if it’s important, you make time for it. It just isn’t all that important to some people. Other things are more important to them.

I’m not even finished reading this whole post and I’m fracking appalled. In fact, I can relate to this OP more than I care to admit. My own relationship was destroyed because of my lifting habits, and you know what, I’m not even sorry about it. Yes, I loved being married, but if being married interferes with my lifestyle of bodybuilding and lifting, then screw it. I’m not about to change my lifting habits for anyone. It’s what I live for. Everyone has to have something to live for and something that they enjoy doing above all else. If your significant other can’t deal with that fact then you two are destined to have a failed relationship.

And I admit I’m more addicted to working out than most, but it’s what I do to stay sane. It keeps me motivated, and makes my life worth living. That’s worth the two hour sacrifice of my time, even if it means cutting some sleep to get up early to do my workouts or staying up later than I should.

Sometimes you just can’t accept someone else telling you what you can and must do. Don’t accept this limitation emplaced upon you OP. It’s total bunk. Cool girl or not, you can’t love someone if you’re not happy with yourself. And if you can’t lift, well, I would be miserable, so why bother. You’re better off alone or finding someone new.

Actually, Wile E Coyote would put some bird seeds on a target and put the safe on a rope. When the Roadrunner would eat the seeds the safe wouldn’t drop. Wile E would check the target and then the safe would drop.
Yes, I watched those cartoons too much during the 70s.

Debra’s ass and hammies are delish…Four60 one of your thighs is bigger than this guy. It’s cute how he always invites people to meet him in NY. And now he will put up 20 posts…with the same crap he always posts…sigh…well it was worth coming in to see Debra

late to the party…i rarely post anymore…OP as said, you’re an idiot.

she should be supportive, if it’s a passion of yours. get her to lift, women (clarification: people) don’t stay looking good past mid twenties w/out exercise.

nobody wants a skinny fat wifey. my lady and i train 5days a week, together but alone, we arrive and leave together, check in, spot one another on occasion but she’s got her training methodoly and i have mine etc. generally we are comfortable w/ “our own space.” lifting is an individual pursuit by and large.

can’t imagine giving up a passion for the sake of a women telling me to, that shit is crazy…you must be a child.

What’s wrong with my posts? Is it that I don’t partake in the circle jerk of compliments so common here?

Or that I don’t deliver 100 compliments to women I have nothing to do with or will never meet?

You get to see and experience the most intimate aspects of that person first hand, for realz, without the pretence of arranged meetings and NOT with your game face on.

I cant believe you actually asked that question?

You have just reached the ripe old age of 21 (congratulations btw) AND by the sounds of it you are a practicing Catholic (God help me (oh the irony!))

We will leave it at that then because STATISTICS and WISDOM are on your side LOL!
