That’s actually very funny and I literally LOLed. Seriously!
I think you’re attractive, but I suspect people on here get frustrated because I don’t indulge excessively. If I say a STRANGER is attractive, that’s basically where it ends–ONE or a FEW compliments.

dude, people’s problem with you and your posts have ZERO to do with whether or not you complement people, trust me.

Begin a relationship as you mean to go on and everything will be fine. Self-sacrifice is okay as an occasional thing, but it’s not workable long term so don’t suggest it is or will be. In my experience, the things people “give up” for their significant others are things they didn’t particularly want to continue doing. A handy excuse. Clearly state your expectations and let her either adjust or realize she can’t. Ask her what she’s going to expect that you’ll have to deal with. Did you say she’s a runner? That can suck up even more time than lifting. Personally, I like to do both and would not accept any interference. But of course he doesn’t interfere because he likes what it does for me.
Plenty of people have serious passions and maintain them through marriage and children.

Damn it, I’m pissed I missed this post earlier.
You are fucking awesome!
Carry on being awesome.
Thanks. I’m fortunate in that awesomeness just comes naturally. I think it’s genetic ![]()
This entire thread makes me scratch my head. Today, we spent most of the day at a meet either competing or coaching. Many of us are married and some were there with their s/o. I was coaching mine. There were a shit ton of t-n people there as well. One other t-n couple was there with him coaching her.

You’re asking who wears one while conversing with someone who does wear one. So I happen to be someone who does, as well as several other people I know.

You get to see and experience the most intimate aspects of that person first hand, for realz, without the pretence of arranged meetings and NOT with your game face on.
I cant believe you actually asked that question?

…the statistics are not in favor for people that cohabit.
You have just reached the ripe old age of 21 (congratulations btw) AND by the sounds of it you are a practicing Catholic (God help me (oh the irony!))
We will leave it at that then because STATISTICS and WISDOM are on your side LOL!
Are you seriously going to base your argument on the fact that I’m twenty-one and Catholic? Fallacy brother, argument from age and fallacy of origins. Maybe instead of using fallacies, you can pull up some statistics (like I did) and show me wisdom that proves me wrong.
I mean, everyone says they have statistics to prove me wrong, but I have yet to see a title of a study or names of scientists that will back their position. I posted my proof, no one has posted theirs. However, quite a few people pointed out that I’m only twenty. Or, that I’m Catholic, which if these folks were really open minded, both of those reasons would have no factor into how my argument was taken. My argument would be based on its own merits.
Congratulations to you and your wife, OBoile!
