Thanks. The rest of me looks more like your before pictures.

Seriously though, you’ve done a fantastic job. Definitely made me take a good look at my own body composition. Down ~10lbs so far (2 notches in my powerlifting belt!) A big change I’ve made is: if I didn’t cook it at home, I’m not eating it. I had a terrible bad habit of ordering out, and eating fast food.

learning that i inspired someone may be the most satisfying part of my journey. after seeing my abs for the first time in my life, of course :)))))

thanks for letting me know.

when my friends ask me how i lost so much bodyfat, first thing i say is ā€˜ā€™ i never get out without having breakfast at home ā€˜ā€™

creating this habit alone is a life changer but if you cook all your meals at home, that is thousand times better.

i think i was happier when i was fat  you made this quote in your first post. Do you still feel this way? Seems you feel much better at this weight. Grats on your progress! lookin good.

Repeating what everyone else has said, awsome work.

physically, i cant be happier.
mentally, its actually exhausting to plan your every meal, cook everything at home etc.
my friends say i used to be a very fun guy that smiles all the time when i was fat.
they say i am very serious nowadays.
interesting observation

First, good job. You look great. The work you put in and ability to maintain it takes impressive dedication. Awesome!

Second, I still don’t know if you are happier overall. What’s the point of looking ripped if it makes you miserable to do it. You only need to care about the opinion of the woman you are with.

I have often thought about trying to get ā€œabsā€ but knew I would be miserable with what it took for me to show abs, so I don’t have that as a goal. I like to enjoy food, an occasional drunk fest, and not make my life anymore difficult than it is. And, it’s not like my Wife is at all unhappy with how I currently look - so why?

BTW, I doubt you were ā€œfatā€ before. I little soft in the gut is not fat.

Whatever you decide is great, but being ultimately happy is the most important. I have worked my butt off for goals and then when I got them realized it was not all that great. So be it - set a new goal.

Cheers.

obviously being lean is a hundred thousand times better. some people will never be content with their physique and that’s okay, it keeps them driven.

OP, fantastic work. Keep doing what you’re doing. Looking great never made anyone’s life harder.

seeing veins and striations when you look at yourself in the mirror is really great.
eating a cheat meal couple times a week is great too.
i think i will try to find something in the middle because i know i never want to look like my before pictures one more time in my life.

I’m in awe at the amount of passive aggressiveness he managed to fit in this post.

Don’t try and sabatoge his goals with your laziness. Not everyone is okay with being fat or chubby or having boobs. Your wife is probably cheating on you with someone with abs. Give the man his respect. He put in work, got big, then cut down to show it off. Let the man enjoy being at his physical best.

At about your height and looking close to your ā€˜before’ picture, this has been a very motivating thread for me OP. With summer ending this week in Australia have decided i’m gonna dedicate the next six months to dropping 15-20 kg of blubber and seeing where that leaves me. Needed a boot up the arse and your pics delivered. again, great job!

LOL

its really incredible to hear that i motivated a man who lives thousands of kms away from me with a couple of pictures.
i hope you succeed in your journey and enjoy being lean because it feels awesome, i cant lie

a disadvantage of being a lightweight : its hard for people to understand you have a ā€˜ā€™ body ā€˜ā€™ under that suit & tie
