Obviously this is meant to spark controversy, and i’m falling for it.

I call bullshit on the grounds that almost all of the big guys at the gym are some of the nicest people at the gym. I have yet to meet someone huge who is just a jackass.

Yes. And I have also been taking hourly progress photos, which is really helping me with my gains and weak spots.

I really enjoyed that article. I’ve noticed the whole greater-cause effect in my own workouts. When I feel as though I’m doing something noble or heroic, I perform far better than when I feel like I’m doing it just for myself. It may sound childish, but half the reason I work out is to be able to help others if they ever need it. I have yet to come across a single damsel in distress, though. =P

I’d say this works based on my own experience, I like to set my mom next to the power rack and call her a bitch before every PR.
