Beef Patties & Muscle Building

So i decied to add alot of beef patties into my body building eating, just because i heard alot of people where eating them. And i also noticed there is no fat-free patties around the place where i live and the leanest was 93% lean and 7% fat but its still 8g of fat, if i eat like 4 to 6 pattys a day, what happens with all that grams of fat, and can someone please give me some specific foods to eat for body building?

I just got done with the loosing weight and now i want to add about 20 pounds of muscle. Thank you.

hm…

Fat is essential for building muscle and losing fat.

Eating just beef paties is stupid when you are skinny. Add some carbs to your meals. Why not post up your current diet, take the time and workout calories and macros (fit day free account will help) and people will help you.

Yo, pro, i just added an extension on to my google chrome where can take a screen shot and annotate the pic, u use the same thing?

Oh and Brah… go the beginner’s section!

beginners section indeed. although I disagree regarding the comment to use the search function. It is far and away the most pitiful part of this site. You are better off searching google.

Beef patties are good but I wouldnt eat them all day, I eat 2 8oz burgers everyday, lots of protine lots of fat to, also drink some whole milk and peanut butter, then just add couple other things, tuna, pasta, rice, and chicken.

Beef patties are great for muscle building. Throw a bun on and make it a HAMBURGER!

Haha nah man, i used the ‘printscreen’ button, put it in paint and edited. took a while but was definately worth it and will be used numerous times over.

Read this

and the subsequent follow ups and implement them, especially the decision making tree AFTER you have established a reasonable diet plan for 2-4 weeks. “a lot of beef patties” isn’t going to cut it.

There is no such thing as fat free beef, 93% ground is fine.

Well of course im not eating just patties, i was also gonna add like half cup brown rice or lentil benas and some yams or sweet potatoes, and yes i also wanted to eat like 2 40z patties but not only once a day, maybe 3 or 4 times a day.

Fat is good for you. Yes, even saturated fat. My fat intake is around 120grams a day, give or take, with the vast majority being “good” fats. My blood lipids, cholesterol and blood pressure have never been better.

Eat good clean foods. Fish, chicken, beef, milk (if you can tolerate it) veggies, fruits.

Man, its like you discovered fire or something eh? haha

New advances in technology fosho.

ok so now i get it, patties are ok but its still kind of wierd beacuse i dont take alot of fat thru out the day, but umm right now i am like 163 and i want to add about 20 to 30 pounds of muscle, can you give me a macro ratio for my diet?

I am doing the I Bodybuilder ht radical hypertrophy work outs, by the way, my diet is when i wake up i have 2 scoops of my protein+ 1/2 of my carb shake+1 serving organic fat free milk(im allergic to milk with fats) which is like 60g protein 27g carbs, then 1 hour later i go work out and for my shake i have 2 scoop of protein&carb shake 52g of protein and 56g of carbs no fat or cholesterol, for my second meal i ahve 1 cup of oatmeal with 1 scoop protein with 1 banana, and then for the rest of the day i have either 3 oz of yams or 4 oz of sweet potato or 1/4cup of lentil beans, all the carbs are at the range of 20-25, with 8 oz of any meat (chicken breast, turkey breast, steak or fish)

A-I,BODYBUILDER is more for people who have a solid base. You sir, do not have.
B-No need to buy super low fat meat, you can get 80/20 not in the gross rolls but in a fresh butcher pack for under 2 bucks a lb. Fat is your friend
C-find a solid 4 or 5 day split and hit it hard.

It all takes time.
BTW man up and make the patties yourself. Sooooo much cheaper and better. time to learn to cook

Ok take what you have been eating…

and add a little bit. Healthy fats to 2-3 meals, some more carbs PWO. That’s it.

I’m pretty sure you meant 4 oz patties, not 40 oz.

But thats fine. A lot of people on here eat a pound (16oz) of ground beef or more a day and it works good for them. Heck look at ProfessorX, he eats like 4 steaks a day!

Whats PWO? and yeah i meant 4 oz, but 2 servings twice or three times a day, so that would be atleast 1 pound of patties a day, but umm so will my abs still come out? because i want the 8 packs and i have 4 showing now, because i know that more protein than carb is on the fat shredder stage.

I know you want the popular magical abs, but if you were shredded like a madman now as far as fat you probably wouldn’t look like you’re expecting. Get bigger first, then shred yourself up is my advice. If you’ve eaten burgers before in your life (sounds like you have), I can safely assure you unless you’re weird like me the vast majority of them were closer to 80/20 than 93/7. 93/7 is considered lean, and actually most people skip it because its not flavorful.

You need to stop asking these questions and start reading. You are asking shit that has been asked thousands of times before.

And please stop offering advice about nutrition in other threads.

Why should he stop asking questions? Who better to get information from, than the hundreds of people on this board. Otherwise, why start any threads.

Ill agree though, that, for someone who asks so many questions, perhaps he’s not in the position to offer nutrition advice yet.
