$5 says some douche from the Physique pictures section destroys themselves trying to do this.
Or will. When it comes out.
I’m buying it.

I’d have to say I’m curious to know what specifics the book gets into.
Unless the book has a way to increase IQ and decrease the need for sleep… nope.

Also: inherit a fortune, master criminal psychology and detective skills, and tell you what city to live in to find the most bizarre and disfigured criminals.

And be able to locate crimes-in-progress.

Interesting link.
I have read about the dual N-back training supposedly increasing fluid intelligence, and some of the other techniques linked from the blog.
Still, I doubt any of those techniques would allow even a reasonably bright person to rise to the level of Batman. The guy is one of the top scientists in the world, in addition to having tremendous analytic powers.

I know, I know. But we can try.
LOL. I can only imagine those going bankrupt trying to afford their first “bat-mobile”.

Damn your negative, Nep. If a idiot can become President then why can’t a T-Man become Batman.
I can’t wait for the reality show.

I never did watch “Who Wants to Be a Superhero” on Sci-Fi. Was it any good?

President is an elected position that has age and citizenship requirements. The position is designed to accommodate varying levels of skill, intelligence, and experience. As such, we can talk about the attributes of the current president… whether he is “good,” “bad,” “smart,” “stupid,” &c.
But we cannot coherently talk about whether someone would be a good or bad Batman. The idea of Batman predicates being good and possessing certain attributes. If one does not have those essential attributes - one cannot be Batman.
If the question were “how can one become a non-super-powered vigilante,” we could have all sorts of discussion about what is really necessary to be a successful vigilante. But that is not the question. The question is how to become Batman, with all of the attributes such becoming entails.

Very true. If you don’t have the big muscles, well above average strength that is on par with world class powerlifters, a vast financial support system that makes it possible to buy almost anything, lightening quick reflexes and the experience of several years of training with monks and world class martial artists…then you ain’t Batman.

Damn the both of you and your negativity! We can all become Batman. I never said how long we’d live as Batman, but we can become Batman.

Oh, you can DRESS as batman. You may even be able to find a 15 year old boy to be your sidekick without jail time being involved…but would you really BE Batman? The cars? The women? The big ass mansion? The gadgets?
Yeah…the Joker would kick your black ass.

I’ve been trying to find it myself, but I haven’t much success. Both hulu.com and scifi.com don’t have full episodes available and it doesn’t appear to have been released on DVD.
They’d have to do a separate show for Batman anyway, since Stan Lee was involved with WWTBAS. You should go pitch it to ABC. ![]()
