I noticed a few weeks ago that my stomach and intestines were getting upset and I couldn’t figure out why. It seemed that it was whenever I ate a meal, but I couldn’t figure out if it was a certain food. Then I realized that it’s every time I take a protein shake it gets especially bad, and for the rest of the day my stomach hurts.
Over the last couple months I’ve been getting sick of taking protein shakes, and now I actually get physically ill when I drink them.
For reference I use Optimum nutrition Gold Standard 100% whey. Anyone else ever have this problem?

If you really want to continue eating protein shakes, you might try eating some natural yogurt (with enzymes) to aid in digestion, or something like lactaid which helps with dairy digestion.
It does NOT sound to me like you are allergic to your protein powder, although it is possible to become allergic to anything.
