Yes im back! Anyway, just wondering if anyone can help me.
Until recently I have been drinking protein shakes happily (apart from the f***ing taste… sometimes). All of a sudden, now when I drink the SAME protein shake I get stomach upsets and diarrohea about an hour later.
What the hell’s up with that? It seems like my body is rejecting the protein…
You should cycle when brand you use every 2 weeks. It’s the same thing with what CT says about your body becoming allergic to the foods you eat day in and day out. Chances are if you had the same protein shake 3 times a day for the last month your body will build up a slight allergic response to it.
Many other coaches suggest rotating the protein as well.

I use Maximuscle Cyclone, but I have tried BSN true mass and other protein powders too see if the problem was with Cyclone but I get the same effect.[/quote]
Bsn true mass is a weight gainer not reallt a protein shake per se! I mean its got say 35 grams of protein but a shit load of crapy carbs steer clear of that from now on
And if its a lactose intolerance than you can get lactose free varietys of whey there still going to be a little lactose obviously but not much
This Maximuscle Cyclone says Lactose is a minimum so it says its suitable for Lactose intolerant individuals, and nope I dont believe it could have gone off either as it was sorted appropriately, so what could the reason be?
I tried cycling different protein shakes, that still doesnt work. Might be a sign from God saying get some f***ing food down you!
What type of whey is it? When I drink anything with a high concentration of whey CONCENTRATE, I have terrible stomach issues. BSN products have a high percentage of concentrate and I can’t stand more than maybe one shake a week.
I switched to mainly whey hydrosylate and isolate and I haven’t had those issues any longer.
So your saying I should try a different type of whey then? I dont think the Cyclone contains a lot of whey concentrates though, tablets are all that I can take and Im on BCAA’s now…
