Beast from the East

Epic EPIC workout today. Decided to up the intensity, and was sweating like a beast.

Deficit Pull: worked to 1rm - managed 120kg, failed at 130kg.

Good Mornings: 4 x 12 - 40kg

RDL Deficit: 3 x 12 - 80kg

Bulgarian Split Squat: 4 x 10 per leg - 40kg (this was killer)

Weighted decline sit ups: 3 x 8 - 10kg
Supersetted that with some push ups to keep the blood pumping :slight_smile:

Needless to say the walk home was entertaining - my legs were like jelly!

Was gutted that my Deficit pull was only 120…130kg seems to be my Everest!

Hope everyone has a good weekend!! I’ll be doing some light stuff in the gym tomorrow and body weight work…perhaps even do the V-Burn for kicks :wink:

Do you have 2.5kg plates? Might help to go 125kg next time rather than 130. Or even 122.5kg if you have 1.25 plates available. A small progressions works better than a big fail.

120 went up fairly easily and so I just got a little too confident and ambitious and went straight for 130 :wink: Will ramp up slower next time haha.

Rest day today, and so I am pulsing. Already finding myself planning my meals for tomorrow…coconut flour pancakes for breakfast methinks! :slight_smile:
