Beard Power

Just a question…but do women find beards more attractive lately?

I am growing mine out but wanted to hear opinions.

I usually let mine grow out in the winter (cold up here). For the past 10 years or so, I’ve kept a 1/2 goatee on my chin. I shave the beard (leaving the chin) when I’m going to be in front of customers every couple/few weeks.

Are you going to leave the shaved top with the beard? You’ll pull that off nicely with your size.

MANNNN, the hell with all of you. I am in my 40’s and the youngest of 4 brothers and the only one that has never been able to grow facial hair. I was on 2 weeks leave 2 years ago and tried to let it grow it came out grey and patchy how in the EFF does a guy get grey hair before he can even grow a facial hair…Yeah back to my first sentence. THE HELL WITH YOU ALL.

LOL. I have friends younger than me with full grey hair working already.

I think having kids is to blame for that really.

Have thought about this often over the past 10 years or so but after realizing that 90% of my peers are balding significantly and I have as much head hair now as I did at 19 I’ve decided not to do it.
Hair is overrated. It is all about the shape of the head.

I lucked out with only minor asymmetry but smooth roundness. If you have skull wrinkles, you may not want to be bald.

The same goes for extreme peanut-heads and white dudes who just look sickly when they shave it off because they don’t understand how body frame goes with part of the look.

Oh…and thank GOD I’m black.
Head shape is my problem. I’m shaved my head down 3 or 4 times, but I have a kind of ridge thing that runs front to back on the top of my head. My head is pretty symmetric, but just looks weird.

You won’t likely have kids unless there’s a woman in the picture, and she’s usually in the picture well before the kids come around.

So, we can blame women.

I gotta grow mine out because half the female population seems to hate it; so it’s the only way to thin the single file line that follows me wherever I go.

For some of you guys, you may just not be letting it grow for long enough of a time.

Going from clean shaven to full beard take a long time for me. It looks like shit up until about a month into it. I have to push past the hobo look every time I’ve grown mine out.

Takes me a few days.

I get my 5 o’clock shadow at Noon.

I’d complain, but it sounds like I’m a whole lot better off than most of the people here.

I can grow a goatee and side burns like no-body’s business, the stache and the stuff between the burns and the goatee take forever. Which is why it looks retarded at first.

I’ve never had the balls to grow mine out to the full Crazy viking/Wendler thing, though I’ve always wanted to. My wife starts complaining when it gets about this long.

I’ve got very patchy, gross facial hair and nothing but a few nipple hairs on my chest. It makes me sad. My friends are all currently sporting mustaches in celebration of mustache month (February) and I don’t get to participate. :frowning:
