I dunno as my scales are fucked, i was about 183lbs but a few days i weighed 175lbs lol…i have used 3 scales including the one i have at home, it said 183lbs but a few days later, i currently weight 175lbs lol…sometimes my scales say i weigh a bit more or less lol.

My family recken my scales are dodgy lol.

It sounds like you aren’t eating enough nor pushing yourself hard enough in training. Starting Strength is pretty low volume, so I would consider doing some conditioning work as well. It doesn’t need to be anything stupid, but just something short and intense. Run hills, pull a sled, do some slamball slams, clean a sandbag every minute on the minute for 10 minutes, etc. This will get in some extra training in, build up your work capacity, and the eccentricless nature of it will make it easy to recover.

Yeah i defiantly i need some cardio/condition to go with my upcoming new size and what you described is defiantly what am looking for soo thanks…btw i think this forum is better then the misc from bb as i made a thread similer to this one and all i got was ‘you be more suited for a back as its impossible to get big’ etc when i clearly said that i wanted to bulk up for forwards position like props only.

Its guys like that cause me to look for excuses and become negetive as all they seem to care about is looking like zyzz or jeff seid and that is not my goal lol.

Zyzz had a lot of muscle on his frame.

Seeing the way you’re approaching this, I feel the need to caution you.

There is a difference between “bear mode” and “fat fuck”. Don’t get too carried away.

But yeah is also a difference between anorexic or ripped muscle like bruce lee, zyzz and bearmode physique but if i become over 27 or 30% body fat then obviously i would go on a cut as dont to look like a sumo or someone who looks like he wants to break the world record as the fattest man.

But yeah my goals are to be massive and strong (like well over 200lbs),so am not bothered about abs but i dont want to be over 30% body fat either.

For now am gonna shoot for 225 or 230lbs…obviously in years time, am hopefully bigger then that but thats am what am gonna bulk up too…i am doing starting strength, i might use creatine too and obviosly i will be considered fat to the ignorant on the bb.com site since am doing it natural (i would only experiment with steds in 6 or 10 years time to be a lean big guy).

Have you heard of big jay extreme fitness? i like his motto to people who call him a fat fuck, he says ‘i am not skinny jay, ripped jay etc i am big jay’ also doug hepburn was a massive natural strongman at 280-300lbs.

So in about a month and a half you’ve (at best) lost a pound? Do you have any extra strength to show for your effort?

I been 185lbs for 3 weeks then suddenly in 5 days, according to my scales, am 175lbs which in my opinion is a load of bollocks as weight dos not go down that fast.

Effort? lol i been a bit lazy but am gonna give my self a big kick up the arse and be well over 200lbs like a rugby forward, strongman or powerlifter…what do you think of home weighing scales?

I am 5’11 189lbs and not “big boned”. Not to split hairs but you, like me, are skinny.

What you are going to do means nothing, what you have done is all that counts.

I think home weighing scales do what they say on the tin, I would be more concerned that you weighed 185 for a month and a half on a “bulk” than the brief blip last week. You would expect weight to fluctuate throughout the day and week. This is not something to concern yourself with compared to the fact that you are making zero progress towards your professed goal.

Bottom line: you need to either set yourself a solid goal and start making real progress towards it or find another hobby. I’ve heard Zumba is popular.

TC, I feel as though you spend far more energy talking about how much you dislike one website than you do toward eating well and training hard.

I honestly think that a good approach for you would be that anytime you feel the need to post something along those lines, cook and eat a meal instead.

I said i am big boned as in the fact i have big bone measurements…not all big boned guys are fat phucks.

I feel you could market this. Add a catchy title and a few pictures of half-nekkid ladies and you’re golden.

I think you have misread, or misinterpreted, this post.

It’s similar to the “do push-ups during the commercial break” idea, which also isn’t bad. I used to do something like this when I was really pushing weight gain. Basically like, if I was bored, I would go drink a glass of milk.
