Does anybody think doing BBB twice in a week would be overkill? Or could it benefit the lifts?
Something like this, for example:
Day 1)
5/3/1 Deadlift
BBB deadlift
BBB press
Day 2)
5/3/1 Bench
BBB bench
BBB squat
Day 3)
5/3/1 Squat
BBB squat
BBB bench
Day 4)
5/3/1 Press
BBB press
BBB deadlift
What BBB template are you currently running? Do you feel you could add that kind of volume and continue getting quality work outs in?
I suspect the quality of your workouts will falter.
my back hurts just looking at this for deadlifts

I’m not sure whether it would be too much or not. I don’t suspect it would be massively difficult as the extra BBB days would still only be at 50-60%.

Thanks Jim - you think it would be too taxing on the body?

Have you performed squats at 5x10 sets of 50-60%? Do you feel you could do that twice a week with a single days rest?
My body hurts just looking at that template.

Yep. You can’t take a higher volume program and just do more of it. If you want a higher frequency, changes have to be made.
