MJ, my neighbors are all great. Either we get along real well or they’re so private I never see them.
Jack, thanks for the love.
Scott, my best friend in high school drove a scout. Your dad’s must be at least 20-25 years old. I used to target shoot quite a bit but now its just bb and pellet guns in the backyard. 22s are fun to target shoot with because the bullets are so cheap. Well at least they used to be. My shot gun, 22 and little hand gun are all stored away at my parents house.

My dad always had a Scout with a snowplow when I was growing up. Until it rusted apart and he made the guy buying it for the snowplow take it away.
my father has had Scouts as long as i can remember. the one he has now is just used to get us around on his land. I learned to drive on it… a long, long time ago.

Ya - me too.
In fact, I failed my first driver’s license exam because I took it in an automatic when I was used to driving a Scout!

if you can learn to drive a scout, you can drive anything. i remember having to hold 2 gear in or it would pop out and there’s a lot of play in the steering. wouldn’t trade it for the world though…

yeah… that’s some awesome lifting hoss!! i envy your living space. i live in a neighborhood with houses right next to each other. luckily i have a detached garage to do all my manly stuff in. my father, on the other hand, has about 50 acres. on the weekends i’ll ride my Harley up to his house and we take his old International Scout down to the shooting ranges we’ve built. We hav pistol, rifle and shot gun ranges set up. It’s tons of fun. we’ve made swiveling flags to shoot at, body shaped plate steel targets and different targets at different yard markers. We typically shoot .22 pistols for practice but i really love breaking out the .40 cal and .357. do any shoot’n steve??
but in a scout you had to stand on the brake and in an automatic with power brakes…

Pussy, why don’t you man up and shoot a .44?
.40s and .357s are GREAT rounds. I like to plink with my .38. When I need to feel the thunder, though, I break out the .454 Casull. If I make it through a box of 20 rounds ($20 worth), my hand will hurt for a couple of days.
When I bought it, it was the big daddy. Then Smith had to come out with the damned .500.
Also, my Dad used to have a Scout (CB and winch included). Great vehicle, if he could get it started. I never got to drive it, but I do remember him fighting with the steering.

Pete, you’re 100% correct. Shooting a 22 and not a 44 is being a pussy. Kinda like suiting up instead of lifting raw. You understand, right?
All this talk of scouts brings back so many high school memories. We would pick up a 12 pack of road sodas and ride the back roads in that damn scout. Luckily we never hit anything or got caught.

don’t know how this turned into a raw/equipped debate. hmmm. I won’t feed into that trap.

Doesn’t everything turn into a raw/equipped debate?? Just busting your balls because you can roll with it.
bb complex with 95 lbs. Alternate 10 rep and 5 rep sets.
sldl,bb row,hang clean,push press,back squat,GM
I didn’t keep track of the number of complexes. It was at least 6. I would do a complex then watch the kids play video games then go back and do another. I wanted to get outside but its raining and I pussied out.
