After 23 it got really tough. 27 to 30 was torture. Legs are still shaking.

Thanks guys. This is something I’ve wanted to do for awhile. 500x10 and 225x50 are a couple more goals I’d like to hit. I’m hoping this high rep stuff helps with something or am I wasting my time?

I obviously am no Tom Platz but I appreciate your kind words. I’ve realized at 40 my best lift is squats. Wish I wouldn’t have shied away from them until I was 38.

Steve, that is just awesome. 30 squats at any weight is great…but 315#? Are you off your meds?

Wow this is freaky. I was just talking about this with my training partner. 405 for 20 is his next rep goal.

i’m really like’n the high rep squat stuff you are doing. have you noticed your quads getting bigger??

skwatt night for me is tomorrow. last week i did 405 against bands which brought the weight up to about 500 for 8 comfortable reps. i think this week i’ll take the bands off and attempt 405 for 12-15. i’m afraid that i’m not conditioned enough for it, but i’ll give it a go.

Ok so let me get this straight…you did 30 reps at 315lbs!!! INSANE…doesn’t that qualify as double DIESEL?

I think my legs have grown a little bit over the past couple months. You’ll knock out 15 reps with 405 like nothing.

OG, I wanted to try some stuff no one else has been doing. And this high rep squat idea has been banging around in my head for a bit.
