Still getting my lifting in though. No matter what goes on around me personal issues, etc I always get my ass in the gym. I consider it therapy if nothing else.

Incline Barbell (chest getting a bit tired at this point)

315 x 15
315 x 15

Finished up with pec dec
4 sets of 30

Still can’t get over how nuts your training is. 405 for 20 on the decline after doing flat and two kinds of inclines for multiple sets of 20 on each.

Decline has always been the easiest pressing movement for me. If I do it first my weights can get stupid on it.

I really started the 15-20 reps scheme about 2 years ago. Now it took my quite some time to get used to it, but I am hitting it full stride now and love it. The pump and overall roundness it is contributing is awesome.

Plus, I am running more gear than I ever have before. Could be helping too =P.

Thanks Beth. Lifting has always been my passion and have not found anything else that quite calms me like a good tiring session in the gym.

I really plan on sticking around here. Lots of good folks here, just like anywhere else the squeaky wheels just can make it miserable. Just seems we need the mods to do more oiling of said squeaky wheels. That or Ill just fill up my ignore list.

I just use the weights that give me progress. If I could use 135 pounds and see progress, I would. Just a means to an end.

On a random note - I was watching some college games with some friends yesterday and when the announcers talk about the big offensive linemen or defensive linemen usually aroun 6’4 - 6’7 and 300-330 lbs. I always say that really isn’t that heavy… I am half a foot shorter and the same weight… They are not all that big realistically.

I’m 5’8 trying to be 5’9 lol. Lol pretty cool. I’m actually not in DC now. I go to school in GA.

Yeah you’re right. It’s really hard to fill out at that height.
