I’ll turn 58 in a couple of months. I have been living without a large intestine for the past 25.5 years. I have a j-pouch inside my body. As a result, I am forced to take a lot of medication and I have multiple bouts of diarrhea daily. Roughly 6-7 on a good / normal day and 10+ on not-so-good days.
I’m barely 5’9” and through the years weighed around 165 on average. I seemed to lose some weight during the Covid pandemic and haven’t been able to put it back on. I’ve been down as low as 147ish but mostly have been right around 150. So I am trying to find ways to increase my muscle mass and weight, but it’s been challenging.
If anyone has some advice I’d appreciate it…
