Basic 3 day a week program while losing fat

I basically dropped them over a period of time until I saw the scale start to shift. I based off of being essentially sedentary, apart from Mondays, so I don’t raising them providing the weight still shifts.
I know there’s no real set number but would it better to just start higher say 2000 or raise it incrementally week on week if I start to feel burnt out etc?
Obviously monitoring the scale at the same time

I was eating 3-4 packs of Little Debbie gem powdered doughnuts a day. I was drinking a Coke or two. I still have a can or two a week. But not daily. No more Little Debbie. Other than that? Maybe on good days just three plates of food (breakfast, lunch, dinner) and I still seem to be slimming. I will take it.
