dude, you need to quit mixing Spike and Jet Li movies. It hasn’t even been a week yet and you are talking war?

War would consist of two people hating each other and trying to kill the other. The only killing that will happen is on the final weigh in.

After Sayjin gets pecker slapped by me because I lost more than he did, we will still be buds. He will just have a big bruise on his face that is shaped like my dong and will think twice about challenging me to anything ever again.

HAHA!! I know, I know.

Have a good weekend both of you.

Its supposed to be in the 90’s all weekend, so that will not be a problem. My driver when I play golf on Sunday, well, that will be a problem.

Don’t let internet bench numbers carry over to wang size my friend!

I agree. Its not the size of the bench that matters, but rather the thrust and the explosion that count.

So I’m a little confused… Is Sayjin going to have a small (but more permanent) bruise, or is it going to be larger, but disappear after a day?

Today as many of you know is the ā€œofficialā€ first day of summer. While where I live, summer never truly ends, for some today marks the beginning of the B’s:

bbq
babes
beer

I thought TCs article came at the appropriate time. What better way to kick off summer than with the Atomic Dog barking about woman.

Why do I start a post this way? Well, because in case some of you haven’t figured it out yet, Santa Barbarian’s are always looking for an excuse to party and today represents such an occasion.

SB has an amazing summer solstice festival. Its the true paganistic approach to the whole thing: naked people running around with their bodies covered in paint, getting waisted and having sex all over the place.

With that in mind, I am moving my gym session to tomorrow. Sayjin, you can officially take the lead this weekend.

Because I’m getting fucked up today!

to be honest, its in between. It wont be small but it wont disappear after a day either

On the other hand, the mark I leave after making him cry tears of defeat will not only be large, but permanent to the point that it will become a birthmark on his children, and his children’s children.

Enjoy your day off sir, for because of it the cock slap recieved on next Monday’s weigh in will be great!

I’m going to be altering my workouts again. I’m not sure what I’ll change them to, but I’m going to take out the lower body work just so I don’t make my injury any worse than it already is. It looks like I’ll most likely end up getting surgery and that it’ll be a meniscus removal instead of a repair because of the position that its in.

Fridays Meals

2 HRX
Meal 1 - 4 eggs, 1 scoop grow, green beans, 5g fish oil

Meal 2 - 6oz chicken breast, green beans, 1oz almonds, 5g fish oil

Meal 3 - 12oz fish, 2 scoop low carb MD, green beans, 2oz almonds, 10g fish oil

I anticipated that I wasn’t going to get another meal in after meal 3, so I ate huge and fell right the hell asleep for a good 13-14 hours, and I feel damn great because of it!

By the end of the summer I hope to be the proud owner of the following products:

Bulletproof Knees
Magnificent Mobility
Lift Strong
Science Behind the Cycle Diet

I just purchased Eric Cressey’s book, and I can’t wait to put it into practice (if all goes well) before the end of the year or early next year.

Sayjin, how is the knee holding up? I see you might be getting your meniscus removed. Sorry to hear about that, hope your knee gets better soon and further damage is not done to it between now and then.

Rage on (in a pain-free manner).

Even though I did not lift yesterday, and even though I drank about 900 beers, I am pretty happy with how I ate and how active I was. Not only did I walk 4 miles, but I got a good 12 miles in on my cruiser bike and I surfed for 2 hours. I didn’t quite stick to the diet plan but did eat bbq’d chicken, turkey burgers with no buns, a lot of salad and some hummus. Oh, I was even able to sneak in a protein shake.

So far today my dog has gotten tagged by a skunk, played 9 holes of golf (shot a 45 with two double bogey’s and yes I walked) and am loving how Spike gets me going in the morning.

Off to the gym, then Warped Tour. Backstage passes are beckoning!

Chris, i was alwatys curious as to why you guys werent using any form of Spike during the PC.

Personally, Spike Shooters are my favorite beverage in the world, its that and water.

And newcastle brown ale, but at 400 calories a pop, those come few and far between.

the Big weigh in is monday right ?

Next Monday - the weigh-ins are bi-weekly.

It blows, so I’m going to stick with HIIT 2x a week and lifting 2x a week EDT style with mainly upperbody exercises.

New Training Schedule:

Mon: Heavy chest and back lifting

Tue: 20-30min of HIIT on the elliptical + Abs

Wed: Off

Thur: EDT - Upperbody + calf and R.Leg
unilateral exercises

Fri: Off

Sat: 20-30min of HIIT on the bike + Abs

Sun: Off

Sunday’s Meals

Meal 1 - 4 eggs, 1 scoop Grow, broccoli, 5g fish oil

Meal 2 - 5oz chicken, broccoli, 5g fish oil

Meal 3 - 5oz chicken, green beans, 5g fish oil

Meal 4 - 6oz beef, green beans, 1oz almonds

Meal 5 - 2 scoop low carb Metabolic Drive, 1 serving Superfood, 5g fish oil

I had my carb meal last night before I went to bed - went to IHOP after doing some homework and devoured some pancakes. Overall I feel pretty squishy these days, but I’m going to stay the course and let the results fall where they may.

If I end up losing excessive muscle then I’ll deal with it in August, as I won’t be prioritizing fat loss again for at least a few years - all strength, size and performance from that point on.

We didn’t use Spike because it’s not really a true fat loss supplement like HRX is. Thats my assumption. I’m just trying it out because I really wanted to try it. I’m getting more HRX this weekend though.

What?

I can’t hear anything anyone is saying.

Sorry, it happens when you stand on stage for Pennywise and don’t wear earplugs.

Warped Tour was actually pretty fun. Saw some good bands. Got on stage for Against Me, Less Than Jake and Pennywise.

Reliant K is the worst band on the planet. By far.

New bands that I saw that I liked: FEAR, Beat Union, As I Lay Dying.

Enough of my play time. Back to work.

Since Sayjin is changing plans, so is Chris. Afterall, the program that I was on was only meant to be one week long anyways.

With that in mind, I am moving over and going to be doing Alwyn Cosgrove/Chad Waterbury’s RFFL program. Should be fun.

OH, I love my dad. He is a physical/occupational therapist so he can get me stuff for cheap. So what does he do? He remembers a conversation with me about soft tissue regeneration and then goes and orders me a foam roller. 4 FEET LONG!

Needless to say I have been rolling the shit out of my legs and they actually hurt really, really bad. Especially my knee’s (I think there is a re-curring pattern here) but I haven’t rolled my knee’s. This makes me feel good, like I might not have an actual knee problem, just tight muscles and tendons.

I am also implementing Bikhram yoga into my Sunday sessions from here on out. I have done it in the past and think that the program will help me work out some of the kinks.

Nice choice of program there Chris. Thats actually the one that I’m switching from because the lower body work that program calls for was causing me all sorts of pain, and lets not even mention the squat exercises. Alwyn and Chad have a reputation for getting shit done as far as their fat loss programs, so I’m going to have to bust my ass to defeat you in fat loss mortal combat.

Chris, what did you think or Bikhram yoga other than it helps? I’ve been considering going to go but would rather hear some feedback from people before I shell out the cash for it.

A simple, ā€œAttractive, barely-dressed women go there.ā€ would be enough of a reason.

I’m actually a little nervous about it. I just spoke to Alwyn and he reminded me to be very careful with my knee. Hopefully it does not become an issue…
