Well, yes and not.
I like this version more as a form of overspeed eccentrics or as a force absorption drill: the bands are fully stretched and provide a high amount of resistance when you are in the air. So you can’t apply force against it. However the bands will actually “speed you down” and when you land, you have to absorb a lot more force than if you did a normal jump.
In my system this would be done on the eccentric day of the realization/explosion phase.
