I’m not putting anything in your mouth, queer (lol)… I don’t even know what we’re arguing about at this point. What I do know is that what you saw is anecdote evidence. You can only possibly have a handful of examples “from memory” vs literally thousands of murders, rapes, assaults, etc… The numbers never lie. The people of Baltimore do more harm to themselves than the police ever will. That’s the only reason I posted the stats.
I do hate dirty cops. I do hate what the government has become. The only real difference between you and I (that I can see) is that I recognize it’s pretty damn hypocritical to destroy your own city over one death when hundreds die each year, at the hands of fellow citizens, and it’s completely ignored, business as usual. Four highly publicized deaths have occurred this year that I remember, how many people were hurt, killed, had their lives destroyed, etc… because of the riots?

I’ll agree with you on this except the “know good lawyers” part. That’s a part of the problem here–when somebody reasonably believes they can get away with shit because you don’t have money to hire a good lawyer or you’re relying on an overworked and underpaid public defender well…things don’t necessarily have to go so great for you.
That doesn’t negate the responsibility for both being obedient and respectful at all. But it does contribute quite significantly to the problem in my view. Also, I have had some nasty experiences with police. I’ve never broken the law aside from speeding, but I had a small taste of cops with “small testicle” syndrome and it’s not pleasant.
