I find that carrots and spinach agree quite well with me
Yeah, I’m eating more kale and tomatoes now instead of green beans and broccoli, and I think that that helps.
This makes me feel better! Not full on - no garlic, no nuts, almost no veggies, fruits or starches would be full-on low FODMAP, so what you’re doing is maybe "FODMAP-Light??? lol
Seeds, like nuts - are high FODMAP… so, this one makes sense. If might not apply to all seeds though!
I am now imagining a distressed you sitting behind your computer screen, losing sleep as you wonder if I have adopted the carnivore diet. I am so glad to have relieved you of that anguish…
Anyway, I usually avoid garlic in any case, so no big deal. I’ve had to give up beloved apples, but I also enjoy oranges, so that is also okay. Notably, I swapped nut butter for peanut butter, which I hadn’t eaten in years.
Chia seeds are low FODMAP assuming one does not go overboard with them (like a lot of foods), and they don’t particularly lend themselves well to large serving sizes anyway. Sadly, I suspect that they don’t sit well with me for some reason. I’ll experiment soon.
LOL! How did you know???
Did this just start or do you suspect that it’s always been a low-level thing?
I know everything…
I actually had not started consuming chia seeds again after many years until a few months ago, so that is hard to answer.
I have zero doubt. Zero.
Keep me posted on all things FODMAP and digestive-related and let me know if there’s ever anything I can do to help ya!

I was still bored of VDIP, so I decided that I will just do whatever I feel like for a bit until I start Deep Water.
I sprinted a little bit more with this one today but nothing too major. I share yet another photo not only because he looks good in the new harness that I bought for him but also because he has been one of the few positive things for me this year, and I am so glad that my friend lets me take care of him whenever she needs or I feel like.

Not been too good at following one of my favorite logs, but Happy New Year to you Bagsy.
Can’t say that I am not guilty of the same. Happy new year to you as well!

I ran on and off with the puppy today. He trudged one hilly mile in less than 8:00, and then he maintained a 7:00-min/mile and ~7:50-min/mile pace on two 800m intervals. We sprinkled some sprints throughout the adventure.
It is safe to say that he is Tired. He wanted me to pick him up several times on the way home, and at one point he hung on for dear life like this:
I’m actually already sore from all of this.

Then some running with the puppy because I ended up keeping him overnight. I barely slept because he has bad separation anxiety – bad enough that I had to take him into the basement with me to do push presses for a few minutes. He was tired today and didn’t really want to run. Hopefully he continues to be mellow for his owner. I guess I can say that I did loaded carries that I have been neglecting lately because he really wanted me to carry him sometimes… definitely garnered attention.
At least that was a pull-up PR. I never managed thirty reps in only three sets before.
Congrats on the PR!
Winnie needs a bagsy in her life lol
Thanks, and yes, I definitely strive to keep him happy (and too tired to bite his owner). I would gladly take Winnie running someday!
Happy New Year! That’s one pooped pup you’re totin’ ![]()
Dogs can be such an excellent primer on children lol.
Congratulations on the pr!
