bad back

Hi folks,

I hurt my lower back almost ten years ago in a work related injury. I have for bulged discs in the lumbar region. I also have a bulged disc in my neck from a training injury done at a very early age. I was fifteen and no one had taught me to squat so I would put the weight of the bar to rest on the bony potrusion in between my lats. Whatever that is called.

At first I had tingling in the arms and legs, and my left leg would sometimes just “die”. It would freeze up as if I was paralyzed there, and then it would go back to normal. Since I was 19 at the time I grew little in height, and those effects left.

I still get tingling in my arms, and I get muscle spasms constantly. My hands will spasm, by lower back will spasm. My hips creak and squeak. I’m a mess. I can’t afford a chiro by the way.

I love to squat, but they seem to make things worse.

I have a home gym with an olympic bar and bench, and some adjustable dumbells. Does anyone know what I could do with this equipment to rehab my back?

Are partial deadlifts good? Ho do you do them? What about good mornings? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
