all day today I was stressed about my personal issues (divorce and custody) and try as I might had a hard time buckling down at work. Finally I after I made sure I wasn’t deliquent on any work tasks I did a little bit of indulgent surfing on lifting sites, and got myself amped to go to Los Campeones. I was determined to pull something from the floor today, last pull from floor was 555 x 3 pretty easily back in October, but given recent health issues I was much more conservative just to get shit going:

conventional dl 135 x 8, 225/315/405 x 3 405 + 50/100/150/200 in chains x 3. each set easier than the last. will up bar weight considerably next time

bent row, overhand grip, 135 x 10, 225 x 8, 3 x 8 w;275, long stretch, tight paused contraction

Sounds like serious stuff. Is the diuretic long term or just until you can get the issue under control?

Not sure how long I will be on the diuretic, this is a long journey overall for my kidneys

with shitty health, lots of stress both work and personal, and the transition to a lower protein diet, I am making progress to get back to where I was, so happy with it

abs and low back and quads toast today, in a very good way

before heading to my commercial gym for some shoulders and tris I stopped at another commercial chain, one of their upscale clubs. it is fairly close to where I am living right now, and last summer when they were revovating I saw they were including oly platforms, half racks, prowlers, round plates, etc. so thought I would have a look see. I got escorted through by a sales rep that could easily be a Kardashian: great big boobs popping out of her suit top/camisole, large tight round ass, etc. Only thing unattractive on her was her wedding ring lol. She also knew the industry, and took three seconds to try to sell me on their oly platforms, good bars, prowlers, and relatively light membership. That and an outstanding child center for my kids. Also touring the club it was full of lots of age appropriate women in very good shape wearing nothing but yoga pants and sports bras, almost shameful tramp stamps from 20 years ago in college exposed, but not too shameful because they had hard abs and good tits. I was almost sold until we got back to her office and she showed me the rates: 160 a month for me, and 30 a month for each kid to go to the child center there. yeah, my broke ass will keep the two gym memberships I have for 1/4 the price
