I haven’t done back squats in a program for at least a year. I do deep ass-to-calves front squats all the time and box squats a good portion of the time. The front squats have given me, and continue to give me, some pretty good full leg development, and the box squats have been great for my glutes. Am I missing something by not doing the old standard?
hamstrings maybe? but you did say front squats give you full development…its really a personal development issue though…if it works for you then stick to it…i’ve been using 50/50 for front/back squats myself seeing how things go…
Mmm…probably not. If anything some posterior chain development, maybe.
