Sounds very similar to my current situation. I started getting (noticing?) pain in my lower back a few weeks ago, mainly while trying to squat. I assumed it was down to my horrendous flexibility (unable to bodyweight squat to depth and pain in my adductors when using weight), which I’ve been putting all my effort in to trying to address since.
Ever since I read up on what lordosis was I’ve been of the belief that I may have it to some degree. However, what got my alarm bells ringing was you mentioning your feet positioning. Since trying to focus on my flexibility I have noticed my right foot does the exact same thing.
I’d like to get an inkling as to which is the cause and which is the effect, poor flexibility causing poor mechanics and structure or the other way round? I don’t want to keep focussing solely on improving my flexibility when I should be at a chiropractor getting bits and bobs popped and cracked.
Apologies for the hijack, I’m looking forward to seeing how you progress!

As far as I understand it, most imbalances like these stem from the feet. My chiropractor said down the road it might be good for me to get elevated supports in my shoes. We’ll see.
I can’t believe I’m still really sore from just the 1 set of front squats thursday, inner thighs a little too. Without the back squats now though I think I’ll add in a set of RDL’s there as well.
