14 weeks out, from today.

By this time, I will have hit weight in/ equipment checks. Warming up in yoga pants/crop top…wait, what?

No, a sleek black Titan Singlet, with Red Laces of Power in my Charles Taylors…and that’s about it!
Lets go, go, go, go, GO!!!

I personally would like to see a video of the warm up, in the yoga pants and crop top…lol

Time will tell on the vids. “Yoga pants” are a bit of an inside joke, with a few of the O35 guys; I wouldn’t know why.

Planned on backing off, just a bit, this week. Had a couple strange days last week; the DL crap comes to mind. But, I feel to good; rested, fed, healthy and ready to train.
What to do, what to do…oh right,

In the end, I stayed with ‘The Plan’. De-Load this week= 3 boring sessions planned:). Not going to bother with a write up. After this week, it’s 12 hard/heavy/smart weeks going into my meet.
That’s it.

Good news, I just HAD a de-load week; Idiot.

Lifted med-volume/ low intensity last Thurs. Friday was light, skipped Sun, light volume/no intensity Tues…Now back to Thursday. So that’s an easy week, well rested and fed, and ready to go like I said a couple days ago.

Thank God I figured all THAT out. Holy Macaroni…

SQ: worked up to 3x5@255 (85ish%) Felt too heavy today.
Front SQ: 3x5@185. Felt very strong; go figure.

Close grip: 4x6@205. Good, but all I had left here.
V-bar Pulldowns: 4x10@120. Hard squeeze at bottom.

DL: Worked up to 6x4@275 (65ish%)
Leg Press: 5x10@480.
Chins 3x3. Dumb idea.
Seated Row: 8’s @ 110,120/ 4x8@ 140.
OHP: 5’s @ 95,95,115/ 3x3@ 135. 5 sec. top holds, last reps.
Misc band work 100+

Sunday, pump day, press day!

Seated DB press: 2x20@25’s/ 2x8@ 45 & 55’s/ 3x5@65.
Mid incline press: 4x8@ 65’s/ 3x12@55’s.
Mid power fly: 3x12@ 25’s

Misc pullaparts, over and backs ect.== 300+

This weeks at Iron warrior= plan says 4-5x3 @ 315. Using the ‘controlled drop’ should help with these. My Rec Center gym floor is quite delicate; must put weights down nicely:)

Lifting with KP must be fun… she comes across as very passionate about the iron…enjoy the day.

I’m doing a JTS (juggernuat) program, for all three lifts, right into the July 31st. meet. It’s % based, waving up 3 weeks, then de-load (which I don’t do very well :slight_smile:)
Nothing fancy. Main lifts, a couple accessory and variations for now…Whatever the paper says pretty much!
I like it though, although sometimes I feel a bit stagnant, then I hit an easy weight/rep PR of sorts…Patience, go figure!

Speaking of which…this was Tuesday= BE and SQ.

Close Grip BE: Sets of 4= 3@135, 2@155/ 185, 205/ 4x4@215. 4x4@195 kicked my butt last month, so that’s something.
Inc BE: Sets of 4=2@135/ 155/ 4x4@185. Took all I had left; not good looking at all, but no help needed.
Facepulls: 5x10@ 65. Hard squeeze in back.

Good enough, now on to the B.S.
SQ: called for 5x5@ 245; light, easy enough right? No, not quite. Bar was all over the place, balance too; tweaking my knee a bit…
I did 2x5@245=all but falling over.
Finished with another 8x3@ 245. Because screw that!
Paused in the hole SQ: 4x4@185. Just as planned.

That is all.

On a personal note, I’ve had 3 deaths, close to me, in the past week. A best friends mom, suddenly. A beloved resident from my property (work)…and the husband of my long time gal pal, commits suicide. F**king suicide.
I’ve been grinding all week; just angry, no patience with people I’m charged to care for/watch over…just frustrated, angry, and a dam dark cloud in the world, which I HATE BEING.
I’m physically sore from it.
That’s all I have to say about that.

I am so sorry you’ve had such a bad week. Life is like that sometimes. It stacks stuff in a seemingly unbearable way. We’ll talk tomorrow.

3" block pulls: 4x3@335. Pulled these Con. stance.

Hammer seated row: 2x8@185/ 4x6@ 245.
Reverse Hypers: 4x10. Did these backwards, off a GHR machine. Best I could do today.
Hammer shrugs: 2x8@185/ 4x6@245.

Drank/ate right at 4000 cal. from 10am start to 7pm. Added about 700 more as a pre-bed snack.
Just ate 500 cal. breakfast snack…weight 190lbs…not that I’m counting :slight_smile:
