Which is why I said “all things being equal”, and why the first part of my post was that genetics aren’t worth shit if you don’t do the right thing health-wise. Genetics is a horseshit excuse to not work hard, but it’s a hard truth for those who do work hard and are never able to cross the threshold to extraordinary. For those of us out there to beat ourselves and test our own limits, though, it’s inconsequential. I’m only talking about pros, due to the OPs question- do I have a genetic advantage over others (though without proper guidance, it’s useless). The answer here would be no, but you can still work, and can still do extraordinary things.

Absolutely. This was my main point. If you have a goal genetics shouldn’t even be thought of for the vast majority of people. Everyone can end up being the best version of what they have to offer.

Agreed. I definitely didn’t wanna make it sound like genetics are the be-all, end-all of lifting. But when 99% of us ask “how are my genetics”, the answer will mostly be “meh”.
The genetics discussion is like the “how to get big” discussion - you have the people who tell you you need to do a crazy routine, take 30 supplements, get perfect sleep and never stress and diet on chicken, rice, and cardboard, which is not necessary for most people, and then you have the people who are like “just pick stuff up and eat and you’ll get huge”, which is not adequate for most people.
With the genetics argument, you have the people who think genetics rules everything, and they’re often just being lazy pussies. Conversely, you have the people who discount genetics altogether, and they’re ignoring the 13-year-old Arnold’s and the teenage Dwayne Johnson’s who were already enormous human beings for their age, and ended up so big that people think it was only steroids that got them there.
With both things, the truths lie in the middle. And disappointing as though it may be, there are no special genetics in this thread.

How did that pizza get out of a car and into a house without it’s shape getting screwed up?

Bro take Isotretinoin 20 mg E.D it will Solve ur Acne problem for sure but u need to drink handsome amount of water with it or else it will dry ur lips like hell.

Yeah. If so I could choose to never train abs and never be shirtless because of my genetics and tendon insertion I only have 7 of them. Or that I have super high lats insertion so there’s no point in training them because they’ll never look as good as Arash’? But my back is still by far my best bodypart.
