Avatar.....Tonight

I thought they were extremely childish looking and all before I saw the movie. Having seen the movie, they fit the overall visuals well. Could it have been done different? Yes. Does it make an overall impact on how well the movie was done? No. You get used to it by the end (2 + hours in).

I thought you had hoes swingin’ from your dick all the time? Go with them or something…

its cause you eat everyone’s popcorn, bring weights in the theater or do tricep dips off your seat during all the non-killing sequences…I’m close right?

I watched this movie today in 3-D and let me tell you it was epic.

Overdrawn, horribly written, questionable acting, utterly forgettable.

I found myself cheering for the mercenaries, and loudly blurted out “thank you!” when the Sargent asked the fuckin avatar, “hows it feel betraying your own race?”

was I the only one who found the natives absolutely fucking annoying? I kept gritting my teeth at their damn high pitched squeals

Lighten up.

I would say it’s definatley worth the $$ for an IMAX 3D ticket.

Just don’t expect anything out of the plot, characters or dialogue. The fact is that this movie (on IMAX 3D) should keep you so stunned visually that the plot and characters won’t seem to matter much.

This movie is pure eye-candy, visually spectacular - IMAX 3D.

I guess you didn’t cheer too long considering what happened after that…which was the real “thank you” moment.

The plot, characters, etc was good enough to move the movie along and at least let people know what was going on. But like you allude to…the visuals in 3D are worth any shortcomings it had. Never have I seen anything like that in a movie.

NOTE Anyone planning on seeing this in 2D are short-changing themselves…really.

Am I the only one who thought that the main Avatar guy looked like Brenden Fraser?

S

THE COLONEL BABY!!!

That dude was BAD ASS! All on fire and shit and could care less, he was all…Im on fire but that can wait, I’ve got some ass to kick.

Good movie 3d took some getting used to.

If your looking for a great action flick with pleanty of alien sideboob this is your flick.

Haha I was just disappointed. It was by no means a terrible film, just not all it was built up to be IMO

This movie was really awesome!

I saw it in IMAX 3D. I think my eyes are progressively getting worse because I couldn’t see some of the 3D, it just seemed blurry. I saw Beowulf in 3D a few years ago and man that was epic! but this time I felt like I was cheated because everyone else was seeing the 3D and I was missing all the good parts. Even though I was getting a headache, I still thought the movie was awesome.

I blame the Ferrari…get rid of it and your eyes will get better. I can help you with that…really.

OK not Great - Saw it in 2D.

Just a classic cowboys vs Indians with upgraded toys.

Yeah, I wouldn’t bother seeing it in anything else than IMAX 3D

I’m telling you,the digital 3D(and CGI) is worth it even with a simple-minded plot.

Without exaggeration best movie I have ever seen. The dialogue could have been better, but the movie experience was so amazing any words that kept the movie moving would have done. If you watch it in 2D you would get more entertainment burning your money.

Burnt my money twice in the last few weeks - Ninja ASS-ass-in was totally ASS.

But this movie wouldn’t have been a waste except that I brought two women with me and neither has a geek side like I do.
