Partially for my own notes, partially to expound for anyone interested:
I actually exerted myself into an anxiety/panic attack of sorts. I’ve had a good handle on physical symptoms of anxiety, but this pushed me over the edge a bit. Mid the third round or so I started thinking about everything wrong with my life and feeling quite pessimistic. Definitely something to keep track of. Now, about two hours later, my more normal state of mind and body sre returning.

6 hours of downhill skiing. I’m quite lucky to have a resort about 20 minutes from my home.
It happens man. I had some shit happen at work a few weeks ago with a client that made me feel retarded. She disrespected me pretty bad in my mind, and worst part of it all was I was on the phone with my wife through my headphones the whole time. I gave it back to her, which resulted in her calling my boss. It turned out not to be a big deal with him, but it hit me rather hard. Anyway, later that night I almost blacked out front squatting so I racked the bar as you normally would when you start seeing your vision close in, but I noticed my heart beating abnormally fast with a weird pattern, I had the feeling like I couldn’t breathe and was trapped, and started shaking perfusely. Turns out I was having a pretty bad panic attack probably brought on from the events that happened earlier. Sorry for the long post, just wanted to let you know you aren’t alone.
I appreciate it sir. Its funny what the brain does when hunting and gathering are no longer the only real stressors.

Felled and prepped a 50’+ tree into firewood. Also shoveled and snow-blowed for about 4 hours.
1/17 Even more work, hopefully training tomorrow
Cleared about 1000 sq. Feet of 10 ft tall blackberry bushes with a machete. Took about 4 hours.
Really hope this included a safari hat
I mean, if there was no Safari Cap did it even happen? haha

Sadly, no safari cap. Just a bandana, elbow length gloves, and my overalls with the straps tied around my waist.
1/18 Normalish training. I’m traveling and too cheap to pay for multiple day passes so i crammed a larger session today.

More for my notes for consistency’s sake.
When starting the press with my legs, the legs stay locked after initiating the press. Usually i do my overhead work in a more jerk-like fashion, where i use leg drive, then partially squat under the weight a bit while it’s on its way up.
1/25 Home workout, thinking about making these a daily thing. Hopefully to help me get a bit leaner, putting more focus/volume/intensity into my primary lifts, and feeling more productive in general.
