Today was an odd day, everything felt like shit. Didnt realize until I got home that I hit bench PR’s. It felt heavy and I didnt feel tight enough. Set a new 5rm without pausing the last one, but doing the pause just adds to the awesomeness. Floor press felt heavy and shit, but got them barely. DB was good, got really fatigued from them. Drove home, hit some back. Pulldowns were good, set a PR for 200. All those high reps killed my back, huge pumpy squuezy goodness. also found out my keys work if I hold shift with the caps lock on, annoying as fuck. Good session, that sucked during but ended up a really good one.

Squats felt all sorts of off warming up, started to get locked in over 2 plates. Kept messing with foot placement until something felt good. Weight felt good, got a little forward but felt like I kept my form pretty damn good. Really happy with the 355 set. Then some volume which sucked. Anything over 5 sucks so much. Didnt feel like deadlifting warming up, but everything felt like it was flying. Fastest 405 has ever moved. 435 was a slight grind, but knew I would get it as soon as it left the ground. 455 moved pretty well off the floor, got to mid shin and back felt like it rounded a little there, mostly upper though. Locked that bitch out and held it for like 10 seconds to let the weight know it was my bitch. Pumped as shit, back feels sore now though, well not sore just tired from the squat volume. Damn good session.

Took like an hour. Press felt decent warming up, hit the five reps I wanted pretty easily, so thought fuck it get dat shit. Didnt feel that hard, good PR. Push press felt easy, the eccentric was hard and I shook like a nervous virgin. Pulldowns were good, nice squeeze. Tits worked on bench. Retractors on rows. Externals on facepulls. Triceps on pushdown. Assistance work is stuff. Good session.

This needed to be seen.

Front squat hold- 315 2x30s

Bulgarian lunge- BW 3x20 each

Took like an hour ish. Squats felt decent warming up. Top set felt like donkey teeth, felt way too loose in the whole. Didnt feel consistent, not too happy with that. Paused felt better, I need to keep these in or else I feel my form isnt as good. Front squat hold killed the upper back and trunk, then the heavy back squat holds killed the upper back and trunk again. Lunges fucked me in the quads and ass. Didnt feel like doing anything else, got some heavy trunk work in. Good session.

On a related note, I reset my squat PR’s because I am not free squatting instead of a box and going lower. Thats why my squat PR’s are less than back when I was in the rape cave.

Good sesshys. Changed my foot position on bench, put them under me more instead of out wide. Felt much tighter in the legs and more stable in general. Had a few reps in the first 230 set, mighta had ten. Last time I tried 225 for reps I got 6 and failed the 7th so this was noice sluts. Then got it again with maybe another rep. Then bumped up another dime and hit the 5 for a PR, 5 pounder. Was getting fatigued, so would have failed the 5th on the next set. Went down to get five, felt much tighter, was the best setup I had all day. Floor press was close grip for dem triceps yo, jsut some volume. Back stuff went good at the other gym, didnt feel much on pulldowns but hit a decent number, wanna hit 200 for ten soon. Rows got dat squeeze. Facepulls burn that upper back such hard. Then triceps again and some band strethces. I always feel really good after those band stretches and the sleeper stretch. Really need to keep those in. Got some bench PR’s. That has been climbing really nicely.
