If i were a non Olympia threat, I would hit up all the weak shows like a dude in the bar getting at the weak, fugly barflies. Id say fuck it, while Phil is getting ready for The Olympia, I’ll be getting ready for Rodrigo Muffler and Tire Classic and win $435 and a free oil change.

indeed, this definitely answers stu’s curiosity regarding the competitor’s decision to enter this show and not hold out for the olympia
they all knew they stood no chance

Lol, nicely said.

apparently he’s (Ben pakulski) got the huge gut now too although to be fair the pics I’ve seen don’t look too bad im going off others opinions on that one.

Honestly, he hides it very well in his standard poses so seeing the pictures afterwards don’t really give you a great idea of how bad it is. In between every pose his gut stuck out more than his chest, it was pretty bad.
Agree with Myo, worst Arnold line up I can remember.

I didn’t watch the vids yet, but from the pic posted it looks more like he’s breathing in than having a distended gut. The 2nd picture of the guys in the warmup room shows some distended guts(lower belly area) while Ben’s looks like his diaphragm because he’s breathing in transition/while walking somewhere. Look how much higher up in comparison to his belly button his protrusion is.
I’m going to watch the vids when I get a chance and see how bad it looks during callouts; I could be completely and totally wrong(and probably am, since you’ve come to that conclusion with the video evidence).
Again, I didn’t watch the vids yet, but from that 1 picture it looks perfectly explainable.

Nathalia if going for a more shapely and a bit more muscular look, Nagrani if going for a smaller look

Either have india then nagrani then melo or nagrani india melo or melo nagrani india

^My thoughts exactly. Personally, I’m a bit fan of Nathalia, but having her right after India, just shows no consistency in what they’re looking for. Usually if you breakdown the top placings in any well judged division, you can see what the ‘ideal’ should be, but here, it’s one side of the spectrum in 1st, and the other in 2nd.
As far as the men’s BBing goes,… I’m very cool with Dex winning. The guy’s always busting his ass, and after basically being written off for a while, to come back and take the Masters Olympia, and then the Arnold, well… say what you want about the quality of the line up, good for him.
Ced has everything he needs to walk all over these guys, but for some reason getting that seriously dry, and crisp conditioning just never seems to happen. I know people are ripping him all over online about his bad tan, lack of oil, being 2-4 weeks off from his best peak etc, but for a guy who perfectly puts together staggering size, with perfect shape, it’s just a matter of time before finally brings what he’s truly capable of.

Nice. I’d bang India and Melo till my junk fell off.

I feel like the same thing could have been said about Victor Martinez, and the guy just never got it together. I know people have made a case for him to win the O in one of those years he was 2nd to Cutler, but the guy never seems to get shredded.

Watch the videos, all I can say. ![]()
Ben Pakulski claims to be introducing a more scientific approach to bodybuilding. He states he wants to bring intelligence and health into bodybuilding. It says on his wiki page that he’s the first bodybuilder and speak at a conference hosted by some academic sports nutritionist society.
In fairness, he has a degree in kinesiology and seems to have an interest in reading and expanding his knowledge, not just in bodybuilding but also in other topics (in his DVD he states he has an interest in quantum physics).
From the discussion deduced here it looks like he’s not too shabby in the sophistication of his drug use.

Apparently Victor doesn’t have the leg genetics to win the O (I say apparently because I still don’t understand how bodybuilding judging is framed and don’t follow the sport much). Ced has the entire package: size, shape and bellies ACROSS the board.
Someone needs to tell him the only guy standing in his way to O immortality is Phil Heath and Phil Heath is far from unbeatable.
Can you imagine how happy the Weider family and the IFBB would be if their champion, Mr. O, was in the service. A humble and down-to-earth patriot in one of the world’s most self-absorbed and ego-maniacal sports.
