I’ll try one more time to explain my view here, so promise me that you’ll put a little more effort in reading this post, please?

Lets say we have THE guy with THE BEST genetics POSSIBLE, and he is and always has been natural his entire life, and he’s been lifting seriously for at least 10 years. Now, KNOWING that I don’t have those genetics, I’ll have a frame of reference for a physique that I MAY be able to APPROACH (but not arrive at) after that same amount of time of training. I’ll no longer be fooling myself into thinking that I’ll ever look like Arnold, Ronnie, Jay etc.

Just imagine a guy working out balls-to-the-wall for 10yrs, staying completely natural, and wondering why he still doesn’t look like Arnold, Ronnie, Jay or even any of the runner-ups and competitors. I just want to know what a BALL-PARK physique would look like for someone who is natural. Why is this striking you as so far fetched?
You’re an idiot. I really mean that. Tell me when you look like Michael Lockett. I’ll wait for you to get there.

No one has misunderstood you. You are just too slow to understand what is being said to you.
You really weren’t saying much to begin with…

Miachel Lockett, See, NOW you’re contributing. Thats ALL you would’ve had to say in the first place. I am actually very suprised at him being natural, it’s really cool though. Now I can look up to HIM instead of Arnold Ronnie etc. see how that works?
What’s the difference. You wont look like Lockett, Ronnie, or Arnold. How bout looking up to yourself?
Right, of course, BUT at least I can look at Lockett and be a little* more happy with my progress than if I was looking at Arnold or whoever. Not that this is something that I am fixated on, I mostly look in the mirror/scale/weights I lift to determine my progress.

Dude, you really don’t know me enough (or at all for that matter) to even begin making comments like this. I could sit here and tell you why I am such an amazing person(for many reasons outside of training), but I’m sure you don’t want to hear it and I don’t feel like getting called concieted. Everyday is an oppurtunity to be a better person than the day before, I am constantly seeking to change myself for the better in all aspects of my life.
This guy is natty. Check him out. Pwns Lockett bigtime
carbiduis wrote:

Really? because Lockett has such an attainable physique?

LOL

Oh yeah…carbiduis is just a few steps closer to this.

Dude, just let us know when you look like Lockett. Until then, quit pretending like someone with GREAT genetics has any bearing on what YOU can do.

No one will know what YOU can do until YOU alone do it. Lockett doesn’t have shit to do with it.

He should be just as much motivation as Vic Martinez.

Guys who can look like this don’t look like you at your stage of training.

Oh, fucking, BOY!

Again you prove that you are still not seeing where I’m coming from.

This guy in the pic. has A+ genetics with A+ training, he looks amazing…
So, If I have C+ genetics and B- training I can hope to look half as good as him, that can be my goal for now.

please tell me you get it???

So you’re telling me that after 1yr of medicore+ 1.5 yrs of more serious training and not eating enough through out that whole time, this guy would look better than me? I gues thats just his genetics HUH!?

I am thinking I had better step my game up as well…but I just can’t find it in me to get to the gym more than 6 days a week.

You keep saying that CT is natty. What, exactly, is your defnition of the term. THere are at least 3 definitions I know of that are used commonly in bodybuilding.

Yeah, I’m sure it’s hilarious to see someone try to make up eqns for peoples bodies(even though there was no eqn, just a letter rating system to make my point), but I was just trying to do that to help convey my thoughts, instead of using words in a qualitative way since I already tried that like 2-3 times.

I had trouble last year as it was junior level engineering…but this semester I already had an above avg score on my multivariable calc. exam, set the curve in my health class and scored perfect on my music test (yea, easy i know) This year I’m taking a lighter schedule jsut so I can increase my GPA.

Well…I’d say that Arnold and Ronnie and Jay have a more attainable physique, theirs should be EASY to acquire in comparison to Lockett.

Lifetime natural - whatever the hell that means

Natural - (never used anything banned by the govt)

Natural for X years.

Competitions exist for all three scenarios. Testosterone has been banned for a while but Superdrol hasn’t. Guess that makes Superdrol users natty in some cases lulz

just to help carbiduis out a bit… I think its like looking up to any figure… let it be another athlete football/wrestler… scientist… father… etc… you’re never going to be them… you may possibly be better then them or 100 times worse… but everyone has a “hero/idol”(maybe a little extreme) that they see as motivation. I think Carbidius’ viewpoint is just fine; his goals are just different than a lot of the other people on this website. I get why X and Bonez are bashing him; there’s not a lot of tolerance here for less than total dedication and results. If you aren’t willing to see it that way, there are other websites/forums out there that might be better suited to your goals.

and X, you’ve been complaining a LOT about how everyone calls you out on everything you say lately. You ever see the guy driving the wrong way down a one-way street, shaking his fist at all the morons who don’t know how to drive?

There’s a better way to share all that and help others than begin every post with “You’re such a retard.”–Even if what people say IS retarded. You’re not a good teacher. Use some of that legendary drive to improve your people skills. If you don’t care enough to change a little, then stop complaining when people react to you the way they do.

If you need that kind of attention and like it, please continue.

PS: You’re really big. Really. I mean it. Kudos.

I’ve heard people use the expression ‘drug free’ meaning they probably use steroids (and probably peptides)

And ‘steroid free’ meaning they probably use drugs and peptides.

I think Pat Mendes summed this steroid shit up quite well, when he was asked if he was natural (he’s 20 and squats 360kg raw) he said, everyone thinks I’m on steroids, when people see someone doing something they can’t do, they have to look for an explanation in order to justify it to themselves. Unfortunately when this is done, by many people its in a way that discredits the individuals achievements, not commends them.

How many people have you heard say "yeah, that guys physique is a ton better than mine because he’s dedicated to his training, works his ass of and eats a great diet, his genetics are above average and he doesn’t get drunk every weekend, or sit on the sofa eating junk food and watching TV. if he started using steroids he’s be even more impressive and make me feel even worse about myself because I’m a lazy, weak, excuse making motherfucker with no self discipline and a non existent work ethic. Every time I see a jacked up dude I feel insecure about myself and have to make further excuses to myself because as much as I’d love to look like that I’m just to damn lazy to do anything about it so I’ll just keep lying to myself and putting the people I secretly want to be like, down’

I think you missed the point completely.

Michael Lockett is just as unattainable to reach as Ronnie Coleman for 99.999999% of the population.

Taking Lockett as a role model but excluding Coleman is simply a slight at a persons accomplishments SOLELY because of drug use.

Why do people get so bent out of shape about this topic of steroids? I’m still trying to figure out what a COMPLETELY natural bodybuilder (with amazing genetics and never having taken steroids in their life) would look like after ~10 yrs of training, JUST SO I KNOW what my goal can/should be (cause I don’t plan ever using them).

I look at Christian Thibaudeau and think that his body is the maximum potential (and probably with some amazing genetics) for someone who is staying natural…maybe I’m wrong, but I’ll never know cause anyone one who DOES know isn’t willing to speak.
