Bodybuilding? Figure? Fitness? I don’t remember
Bodybuilding. They look like they lift and they’re not wearing stripper heels.
I’m jealous, really wanted to see the Hummer Deadlift but we arrived at like 11:30 at night on Friday.
Note to self… when visiting the States do it around the classics.

Keep the pictures coming guys! This is great.
I think this is Johnnie Jackson? That company had by far the biggest booth with the most celebs.
I think that’s David Henry.
Awwww I wish I would’ve gone. We should get a whole bunch of people from T-Nation to meet down there next time. would be awesome. we’ll start our own booth, we’ll get some random strippers and a midget or two. ours will definitely be unique.

That damn stone was a son of a bitch
I take it they weren’t giving technique lessons; split the stone in half with your foot placement and your arms and you’ll get it next time.
They were actually giving some pretty in depth coaching but it’s a really weird motion at least for me.
It took my roommate who deadlifts 585 9 tries or so but he eventually got it.
Jay cutler never looks happy and needs a hair cut, he looks like a wanker.
Apart from that I wish we had stuff like this in Australia I want a booth girl.

Derek Poundstone,
With a name like that, he just had to win!
Great pics though, if I’m ever in the States I must try and plan it around the Arnold

This was Greg Doucette’s opening deadlift of 583. This guy was in 181 and you only get a vague impression of just how much mass he was carrying from the picture. He put up 588/506/616 for a 1710 total.
The man was crazy- he’d competed in the Con-Cret Raw comp the night before and got 467/412 (!!) /583 for a 1466 raw total. Two powerlifting comps in two days, and he was two weeks out from a bodybuilding competition!
He was by far the most impressive lifter that I saw at this meet.
Hes from up home here in Nova Scotia, the first time I seen him was similer to that him being only a few weeks out of a body building competition and tearing up at the powerlifting meet we had in truro. I also seen him at the canadian nationals when they were here in halifax. he a pretty amazing athlete
